Smh that interviewer was so ignorant and close minded it literally gives me chills. I'm glad the world is slowly waking up and even the most close minded person today is aware that there's alternate ways to find happiness in life. This Maharishi character seems very enlightening 😊

He is talking to someone who cannot conceive of anything beyond work sex and money. So of course “bliss consciousness” is a completely meaningless phrase to him. Experiencing greater intelligence only means being better at work and making more money. He doesn’t understand that once you reach unity these mundane fields are of no interest at all.

The TM organization has quite a bit of real estate. Some is in terms of long-term investments and some is in terms of land that is in use. The largest and most expensive tract of land in the USA is the campus of Maharishi University of Management, a fully accredited and functioning university that offers BA/BS, MA/MS and PhD degrees. Eventually they hope to become an accredited medical school, but that is still several decades in the future. The entire holdings of the entire TM organization world-wide have been estimated to be around $3 billion... That is the annual *interest* of the holdings of Harvard University. Just to put things in perspective.

He made tons of money going around to colleges around the US.I once asked how much money he had planned to get from the audience and that I wouldnt give him a wooden nickle and got escorted out by security in 1965 or there abouts.
