Many people claims that babaji provides deeksha only throgh their lineage. This is a FALLACY Babaji provides direct sakhtipata to whoever he deems worthy and who has done intense sadhana in the past lives to be deserving of that. I don't think anybody can restrict Babaji. In a case there is a fellow girl in our Kriya Yoga lineage, she has received only the first stage deeksha. Yet whenever she needs it Babaji gives her darshan in the form of a star in the sky. Whenever my guruji scholds her babaji intervenes. Because of their past life connection. Babaji is very kind and never lets go of us, he follows us though lifetimes guiding us, taking us to a guru for our spiritual advancement.

Babaji is real, no doubt, and extremely high, but not a "Mahavatar" and certainly not higher than Sri Krishna.

The great yogi's say that just like lord Sri Ram and lord Sri Krishna, Mahavatar Babaji too was not born out of a woman's womb. He is an avatara of lord Vishnu himself. Paramahamsa Yogananda said he was lord Krishna in his past life and the followers of nath sampradhaya says he is Lord Shiva himself... Afterall lord Krishna does reveal to Arjuna that among the Adityas I am lord Lord Vishnu and among the Rudras I am ParamaShiva.. So that makes sense.

For people doing Kriya Yoga as sadhana prepares their body to withstand the cosmic energy so they are able to be in their body as long as necessary.
