On Veiga. The board signs a player they think suits the manager. If AFTER the signing and AFTER been evaluated on a daily basis the manager decides that he is not ready to be trusted YET, then you can’t blame the board. The board didn’t sign him to be trusted by Maresca immediately, they signed him to be developed and play here and there and have cover for the conference. Veiga now thinks that roll is not good enough for him. I have to say that the downturn in Chelsea’s form might be due to ad disgruntled dressing room. Maresca said there was no A or B team, but he clearly doesn’t believe all player are ready for PL. they thought that in the easy run of fixtures in December they would be playing but that didn’t happen.

Veiga wants to move because we treat players like shit and we're not successful under this management. Look at the way we've treated previous players for example. Sterling, Chilwell, Gallagher, Chalobah, Lukaku, Maatsen, Nkunku and probably more that I'm forgetting at the moment. All of them treated poorly (in different ways) who have had decent careers and have established themselves as starters at CL level who have been treated like shit and forced out the door/ kept on the bench to force them to leave. If you want players to treat your club with respect and work to gain their place, you have to treat them with dignity.
