@@AliHussain-od9fs This massive discrepancy exists despite the fact that there is no gender bias in the law favouring females. Whether you like it or not, the welfare system forces you as a man to pay for single women, many of whom, as you know, are degenerates. Without welfare and all kinds of affirmative action promoting women in the workplace, women can't support themselves. The feminist welfare state just distributes the burden of taking care of women to all working men. So you, as a man, have the burden of financially supporting these women without any benefit in return, women who will berate you and call you an incel if you disagree with how stunning and brave they are. Basically, Western liberalism forces you as a man to fund the lifestyle of women drinking, sleeping around with a new man every night, popping antidepressants like candy, and going to the women's march on weekends to whine about how oppressed they are. You're literally subsidizing all that. Women being free is not free. Someone has to foot the bill. Islam says, no. No one gets a free ride. If you want to be taken care of, you have to be in a marriage as an obedient wife. And if you don't want to be an obedient wife, go be a burden on your father, who didn't raise you right. And if you don't want to live under your father's roof, go live in the wilderness or beg on the streets. See how long you last there.

What this means is that they want the elderly to live alone in what are essentially pods, their only human interaction being with "care" takers to check if they're still alive once a week. Let me put it like this. The only human solution is for the elderly to be surrounded by loving family in their old age. I think I’m the exception there, my Brev 😬 I’m a taller guy & I like taller girls. Not into short women. If her ex-husband wasn’t providing & he’s of South Asian extraction then I suspect he was likely giving his money to parents, siblings etc. I’m all for helping your family out if you have the means to do so but not if it’s excessive & it’s keeping you from providing from your wife & children. The guy may be one of those men who sees daughters as a burden too, IF the sister is being completely honest about him. One of the main reasons men don’t want to marry a single Mother is because there is a huge potential for drama with the child’s father or paternal relatives. The same way women don’t want baby mama drama, men don’t want baby daddy drama. Divorce can happen even if you start out with the best will in the world but if you choose the wrong man to have a child with, it’s a whole lot of headache that no man wants to deal with. Even if he has kids himself.

If we’re going to follow Shari’ah, we have to follow it fully, as a complete system. Men and women around here are picking and choosing. Let me point out your mental incongruency - Men here all say women shouldn’t take alimony. Many men say women shouldn’t work or get a college degree. Men say a woman should go back to her parents after divorce or the death or her husband, or marry again, so she won’t end up homeless. But then, many men here are saying it’s wrong for a woman to return her kids to their father so she can remarry. They say such a woman isn’t trustworthy (despite this being Shari’ah). Women around here argue against polygyny. Here’s the problem - You’re all putting women into a deep pit of poverty or homelessness. Women whose parents are deceased or who don’t have mahrams to pay for them either must work a good paying job or be able to quickly marry again. If she has no degree then she can’t find good paying work. So her only option is to marry again. But then men around here say never to marry a divorcee or single mom or woman over 30. Many also say don’t marry a widow. Now many men in comments are also saying the woman has to keep and raise the kids. And then on top of that, Muslim women have cut off other women’s access to polygyny. So what in the world are women supposed to do??! You’re all trying to follow parts of shari’ah that benefit you, but then cut out the parts of shari’ah that keep women alive and fed, let alone happy or secure!

@@zenkahnz3859 That’s understandable. I just wish men here would speak more directly and specifically about what it is you’re really against - because I also don’t think it’s education per se that so many of you are against. Try to make change for the positive, rather than throwing the baby out with the bath water and limiting women in such a way that they can be put into very difficult life situations.

I've seen thousands of court order where the father has not even bothered attempted to attend the court for their childrens custody or if the mother was deceased the children were handed to the custody of their grandparents (mainly the maternal grandparents). I've read thousands of letters, stating the child now grown up stating or younger children mother stating the child's father has had no contact with them so unable to provide their details.

You're opinions are so invalid. Men should follow the example of prophet Mohammad whose all wives were either divorced or widowed except for Aisha. You can't suggest that she gives her daughter to her father who doesn't care for his daughter in the first place. Instead you should address men telling them how much reward they will have if they decided to take care of this little daughter after her father left her.
