Taken by Rupert Kelway Bamber using 8mm film reels in the 1960s and 1970s and converted in 2012 to DVD in Switzerland. The film reels were in a poor state.

Having lived on Praslin where we had no electricity until very late I would give anything to experience just 1 more day to live in those times. Life was so bliss!

Dear David, I was wondering can I possibly use a very short clip from your film for my university assignment? I would credit you of course. Thank you Sandra

Hi Sandra. Yes, of course. Are you also aware of the Facebook groups "Seychelles Past" and others where you can find more? Mike Butt also has an extensive collection. Regards, David.
