Meanwhile, a galley loaded with slaves coming over the Black Sea is heading towards Istanbul. The hottest of the slaves is not yet aware that he is on a journey that will change his destiny. He is rebelling helplessly to return.
Sultan Süleyman wants to show what kind of sultan he is by the commands he gave on the first day of his sultanate. But not everyone will like these decisions. Sultan Süleyman does not hesitate to challenge all of Europe with the messages he sends.
Alex, despite all his rebellion, is brought to the Topkapi palace. His attitude attracted the attention of Valide Sultan from the first moment. Sultan Süleyman, padişahlığının ilk gününde verdiği buyruklarla nasıl bir padişah olduğunu göstermek ister. Ama bu kararlar herkesin hoşuna gitmeyecektir. Sultan Süleyman ise gönderdiği mesajlarla, tüm Avrupa’ya meydan okumaktan çekinmez.
Alex, tüm isyankarlığına rağmen, Topkapı sarayına getirilir. Onun bu tavrı ilk andan itibaren Valide Sultan’ın dikkatini çeker. Ama Alex’in sarayın kurallarını öğrenmesi uzun sürmez. Kendisine büyük bir hedef seçer. Alex, Sultan Süleyman’ın karşısına çıktığı ilk gecede onun ilgisini çekmeyi başarır. Sultan Süleyman’ın eşi Mahidevran ise Manisa sarayından yeni gelmiş. Eşi ile görüşmeyi sabırsızlıkla beklemektedir.

I wish she was smart and ruthless like Halime Sultan, from Kosem series. The sultan didn't love her like he did Hurrem, but she could have defend her son's life and secure her position by dirty games and killing, like Hurrem did with other concubines.

Actually, there is something that I am really curious about… who in their right minds would fall in love with the King, Suleiman A man who can have any woman in this world! Any woman can be replaced at any time… even Hurrem did everything she could to get rid of her rivals because she knew if Suleiman get to see more women, he will like them and it will be game over for her! So, Mahidevran must have been really confident in herself to secure Suleiman to herself, to which, she felt so wronged when Suleiman moved on to other girls 😫🙃

I really don't hate Mahidevran! I like her alot! But I really do pity her :/ Instead of taking charge and being quietly ruthles, all she did was cry and go 'Oh woe is me'... The same goes for Hatice too (I also like her)! I really wish the both of them did what Hurrem did, act like a HBIC and show them, whose boss...
