Be 6e looks better from the outside but it's not a practical family car. Interior space feels cramped. Getting in and out is a task. Xev 9e looks awkward from side profile but it's very spacious and comfortable from the inside.

There is a 3rd adjustable headrest in the back. Every reviewer seems to he missing it. It is nearly integrated above the folded handrest and would need to be pushed up for adjustment. Only one reviewer accidentally realised that while playing around with the back seat.

You missed one thing there is a adjustable headrest for the middle passenger on the back as well but it is just so well hidden that you can't just look at it you just simply have to push the headrest up when you bring down the armrest for the rear passenger which is more convenient for the driver to have the visibility on the back of the road unlike the version in the XEV 9 where it is fixed an obstructs the view of the driver

Rarely I get impressed with Automobiles, but this looks like a smart car where technology and automobile industries merge, not talking about luxury segments above 45L. Within 20L budget these are just game changing segments, Curve was beautiful but Mahindra has really taken game to next level, this healthy competition is benifitting the users. Kudos to both Indian companies. Can't wait to ssve good money and get hands on one of these!

After this car. every Indian automobile industry will cutout their fuel running car price list.. It's amazing & marvelous feat by Mahindra @ this price range.. Many might delay their EV car launch also & will start working to counter Mahindra.. It changed the dynamics of manufacturing EV car competition in India.. A big wow to the entire Mahindra team. Only one concern.. in case of collision you will break your teeth if you're in second seat due to the plastic body on the back of front seat.

Test drove it recently. Brilliant product with looks and mechanically sorted car, but a few software glitches were there - 1. Regen was set to level 3 and worked for a minute, then automatically went down to level 0 (no decel on letting the foot off the accelerator) 2. One pedal driving doesnt turn on a lot of times. Also there is no indication of why it’s not turning on/ current status of if it’s on or off 3. Steering wheel buttons are quite flimsy and difficult to understand. Further, i ended up pressing the horn everytime i tried using the buttons 4. Steer by wire is glitchy - this is concerning. Steering went from hard to soft randomly. Same speed. Straight line. 5. Rear seat position is not comfortable - It is angled up. Knees up seating. Overall, Mahindra needs to work on the software stability.
