These types of vans were mostly used as a police vehicals Or used by jail department for transportation of prisoners in 1980s Or 90s , later in mid 90s it was also used as school buses

This one which you have reviewed is a Simpsons S433 engine and not the 62 bhp Peugeot indenor XDP4.90 engine (MM540 Engine) as refered by you. The XDP4.90 engine requires pre heating before starting as its a Indirect Injection engine (IDI) , what you have driven is a Simpsons S433 engine varient.

Hey buddy! Wow, I wasn't aware of such in-depth specs, thanks for your comment! The owner told me it was an MM540 engine (Peugeot) and my initial research pointed to either Simpson's or Peogeut. Looks like even the owner didn't know... Thanks once again man!

I use both Simpsons S433 (irrigation pumpset engine ) and Peugeot XDP4.90 (MM550) engines so I know their sound.
