They don’t “wear out”, break CV joints, break housings (cast iron), lots of complex maintenance and special fluids and the list goes on. It’s mostly a military spec vehicle. Great review. Some of those will still be around a hundred years like an A Model or T Model Ford. That’s a nice winch. Get a snatch block and you could double that to 9000 pounds. Other states will allow allow registering it again to keep it current, but GA won't, because it will be a motorcycle tag not a full size plate, which is a dead give away for HWP and county mounties..I have ran into several out riding on secondary roads and always got compliments and kudos, never so much as a warning...but I never go into city limits or town.

Thank you for your honest opinion ... so it sounds like you hate this thing. I hate it also ! Normally I would enjoy staying in doors after skiing and having a beer or a coffee with sumpin' in it ... but my friend borrowed a RoXor last year and you should of seen all the 50 and 60 year olds waiting their turns to plow someone else's driveway! Hell, two of the snow plower employees parked their rigs and spent their dinner break taking a turn plowing with a RoxoR. It was the winter social event of the season and this beast was staying for a month. What a fun month with terrible weather that just kept suppling the entertainment! And then it left in February and the little town up on MtHood went quiet. The snowplows came thru our little streets and the blowers into our driveways ... they just weren't the same. The little beast That Could was nowhere to be seen ... What was the name of that little tank that made us feel so good and inspired us all to decrease our evening drinking so we could take a turn at looking good. Oh well, I gave in and I stood up to my wife and I demanded that ... I TOLD HER THAT SHE BETTER HAD ... OK, I asked her if I could borrow some money from our savings to get that little red beast that brought so much happiness to our ski mountain community and I would payback the debt with interest. When she told one of our neighbors what I was getting, the tears of joy welled up in his big blood shot eyes and he reach into his chest pocket and pulled out his checkbook handing over a blank check and said "Tell Joe to get a Western Impact HD V-plow and I will pay for half of everything" now my wife is in tears and I just know I ain't gonna ever be able to drive the freakin thing! I ain't standing in line to plow someone else's driveway and I don't want a 10 minute limited turn. I hope someone else buys one this year! Thanks for your testimony, mine never made it out of the parking lot of the dealership because it sprung a leak at the heater core. Thanks to testimony here on KZbin, I didn't worry about this hiccup cuz I had already seen it occur and it ain't no thang!

This was a very helpful review, however your point about the weight is somewhat obtuse when considering the weight of the current Jeep Wrangler two-seater is a thousand pounds greater than the Mahindra (+/- 50lbs). Furthermore I'm extremely interested in the modifications in which you made to the engine in order to double its horsepower. We are very interested and knowing how you did this considering this is a tremendous feat and such engineering prowess and knowledge would surely be appreciated if shared and spread amongst the learned community. In closing the reason why the term lbs is used when talking about pounds is because of the astrological symbol Libra which is a scale and so when we weigh things in the United States we're actually saying it weighs 100 Libras or pounds.
@talktojerm3 жыл бұрын
Doubling the hp is as simple as sending the computer out for a tune. For some reason Mahindra tuned the engine way down, I believe it was to make it look more like a side by side than an actual road vehicle. Most people have the dealer send the ECU out for a tune before they even pick it up. Mine went from 60hp to 110 hp with a Diesel Freeks tune. This is the number one upgrade that every Roxor owner should do!
@johndeere72452 жыл бұрын
@@talktojerm The reason it is tuned down is because it can avoid a majority of the emission laws with a low power tune. Even in an offroad application, anything above 75 horse is going to have more emissions equipment built in, DPF, DOC, DEF, SCR, all the fun acronyms.

Congrats on 2years with the Roxor. Here in India we have the Mahindra Thar instead of the Roxor. The Thar was upgraded in 2020 and is much more powerful than the older version along with a brand new petrol engine (150bhp). Rumours going around are that the version abroad will receive the 180bhp tune. Here are some videos of the relatively new Mahindra Thar - kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJvcfKtnbbhoibc kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGalfp-PmZ6MsKM kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6LKlWWfn76Ca6M kzbin.info/www/bejne/gafCfHqFiqijrZY
