Mahindra Scorpio N Ownership Review after 14000 km 😀 | Part 2

I will be sharing 10 positives & 10 negatives about scorpio n as my ownership review after driving it for 14000km in 4 months. The view shared will be purely based on my personal experience after driving it on pretty much every terrain possible.

The door closure that requires more force when closing is because the car has higher insulation to provide you with higher quietness in the cabin this is why it closes smoothly when you have a window down.

@Traveling Mounts I want Share that - 1) My variant is Z6 MT Diesel 4*2 which giving me 16.5 kmpl plus at the worst and up to 21.6 kmpl on soft handeling of clutch i have driven 6.5 k in 5 months 2) my previous car was sedan so i feel much better in this car 3) i am also having 2014 THAR MT , 2009 Bolero Camper MT and 2021 Xuv 300 diesel MT so have little bit experinced about Mahindra Authosised Service Stations - You need to be little dominating on Service advisor to get the works done 3) ICE System Software glitches hai .though i have not faced on that front but my screen some times shows Hill descent Control active when i dont give inital boot time to system . but no major issues in fact most of the time s i dont use the system at all 4) I have installed ROGER Ab which reduced jerky ride at last row .5) Camera positioning at back is not at correct angle which creates distance recognition vague 6) Doors doesnt close easily 7) I am having same make and brand tyre inflator - its true despite of long cable it doesnt reach easily to front LH wheel - need to adjust the nozzle position and need to pass connection by keeping front window down - i found a solution on amazon - ordered extension cable 8)ventilated seats at least expected on top end varients 9) Spare parts as well as accessories availability is a big concern on which Mahindra is Silent 10) We need to connect through a forum shall proceed with leagl suit towards quality of service which is mahindra offering .

Thanks for sharing valuable experience..I was planning to buy Scorpio n but out of these 10 concerns , I have 5-6 things that affect my peace of mind ..out of which service , reliability on Mahindra for any accessories , ventilated seats , camera nd glitches are main things. I would rather buy anything second hand SUV instead of wasting on it . Happily waiting for Pajero sport

For tyre inflator issue , Desi jugad is Go to local electronic shop get ur tyre inflator wire extended Itna bada wire kar lo ki all tyres tak aasani se pahunch jaaye Hardly 100 rs kharcha.. I know mahindra should give port ahead But giving short quick solution

for door closing issue, slightly open any of the window, 1-2 inch, it is due to air pressure in car - this has been a problem even in older scorpios

I own Scorpio N Z8S MT 7str hai ushme toh koi problem nai hai...it gives me 17-18 km per litre. Earlier i own Creta where i always feel power lag when in off road and overtaking other car but now with 172 BHP and 400 nm of Torque i beat every SUV on road. Its give huge power 💪💪💪💪.... So those who need power then go for it..

I have z8L , AMT, 2WD diesel, so about mileage, I just came back from 1600 kms trip and I pushed car as much I can like upto 160km/hr and normally to 100 to 120 km/ hr on express ways and did lot of city drive too and it gave me mileage of 13kmpl which is great for me even after pushing car to so much speeds and when I drive on crusie with 80 to 90 km/ hr speed , I got mileage of 17kmpl very easily( decent driving. No rushing). So mileage of scorpio n is great for me. Ac is very powerful, even 3rd row passengers were comfortable. M in rajasthan so for now our 🌡 temperature is around 36°C so for now ac is doing great. Let's see how it works at 49/50°C , Driving and passengers Comfort was great. Engine tuning is great, never felt lag , suspension is great, music system is great , I have just driven car 3000kms yet in 15 days. Let's see how this vehicle perform in long term, so far 15 days , 3000kms , no negative yet.

Well mileage is much better than you have mentioned..I am getting 16.5 on highways..You could have added one more issue which is a MAJOR one that is the High Beam Headlights focus..This is actually one thing which mahindra has to resolve Asap..

Yes I did missed the headlight focus issue😅 & great that you pointed it out for the audience 👍 Mileage is subjected to usage. I prefer to ride it in zap & zoom most of the times, but I do see a scope of improvement in this segment.

1. Move spare wheel to rear door and provide bigger fuel tank 2. Provide UV cut glass all around and ventilated seats. 3. Upgrade infotainment software 4. Improve under thigh support and provide rail push-pull movement for middle seats. 5. Need AC vents for 3rd row. 6. Provide ciggerate lighter port on dashboard centre console.. 7. Need air vents in D-Pillar like Scorpio Classic so that doors close easily. 8. Sort out issues with Amazon Alexa & improve overall experience. 9. E-SIM provider should be selected by customer. 10. Service centre experience needs massive improvement. 11. Spare parts are not easily available, has big waiting period.

Don’t get disheartened. This car has far more positives than negatives. Must watch my other video that will for sure change your mind. I have this beast for close to 2 years and drove it to over 30000 km. I absolutely love this beast 😀

11.2 for me petrol manual z8 L I drive city and highway both I keep 80 to 120 speed on highway If I drive with cautious then It can also give 12km/l easily And yeah. Its petrol manual

Yes something similar to XUV 700. Actually last row of Scorpio n is removable, so we can unscrew it if needed.

Indian car manufacturers like Tata and Mahindra are still miles behind other manufacturers like Hyundai and even Suzuki in terms of integrated car software, camera quality and in cabin ergonomics and design. They seem to focus a lot more on engine power, stable chassis and overall build quality. Their R&D in these departments are absolutely world class but their R&D in software, ergonomics and camera systems are really nowhere at the same level. Everything feels half baked and unreliable. This is really frustrating for lot of Indian buyers as we really want our Indian brands to be top class in every aspect. We can't just be satisfied with build quality and engine power alone when we are shelling out 25 lakhs. For that amount we want good cameras, flawless integrated car system software, ventilated seats, good in cabin design for body comfort, a practical boot space etc. I hope M&M takes all these issues seriously and rectify them in v2 of the Scorpio N.

Hello. Appreciate your review however you have mentioned complaints after 14k which were supposed to be things you look for before buying the vehicle e.g ventilated seats, no third row vents etc! As for the door closing problems, I agree with you but it is simply the air pressure that resists. All that is needed is open one of the windows slightly and close the door. Tire inflator problem yes I too miss a front socket but Indian jugaad works well there, for a hundred bucks I had my wire extended. Camera lag was resolved on first service. They flashed the rom and now the camera is smooth Real problems 1) Alexa.. yes she can be a bit*h at times 2) HHC error on some starts, restarting resolves it. A software bug 3) as for your high first service cost... That's ridiculously high

Proper 5 seater with good thigh support of rear seat should be provided. Third row not needed for this vehicle and it is not practical.

Bhai, aapka jo expectations hai uski hisab se galat gari choose kar liya. Mahindra ke taraf se wada tha big daddy ki, wo de diye aap usse girlfriend ki umeed nehi rakh sakte. Ye hai majboot haati, garib ko ki fortuner, isme comfort ki umeed karna nehi chahiye. Aap budget car mein, carens me chale jao, aapko proper luxury feel hogi with lots of features and comfortable boot space and ac vent on top upto last row. Lekin wo big daddy feel nehi hogi. Thoda aur budget strech karke xuv700 aur safari dekh sakte ho, jiska last row mein ac vent aur baht comfortable feel karoge. By the way, mai bhi iss majboot dabbe ka owner hu. Comfort ki umeed toh shaheed ho gaye .😂 Koi nehi chalao show off ke liye bass, aur kuch nehi.

Exactly this is why i booked the top manual diesel and later cancelled it... boot door is absolute nonsense & the 3rd row seat hinges are visible. This is nonsense car at 27 lacs.. After 2-3 yrs they will rectify all these things but then by that time it will not be VFM.... bullshit hyped product

Roof carrier ki Wajah se wind drag Banta hai, joki ek bada reason hai kam mileage ka. I always drive it in zip or zoom mode with AC, that further contributes.
