One of the best Scorpio N long term experience review. And yes, the BS6 norms have really killed the fun of Diesels due to its unpredictable and delicate nature. DPF issue has really soured our experience with our overall lovely 2022 Crysta.

Scorpio-n is almost readily available or a little waiting time. Thar Roxx - a year or so.... Scorpio-n base variant (z4) available in 4x4. Thar available only in top variant. Scorpio-n tried and tested on road by real users and problems rectified. Thar roxx completely new... hope you understood 😃

Good video, bro. Maybe u can get DEF Tank guard and metal engine protection installed. I have got it done in my ScorpioN so to keep underbody safer specially DEF tank which is absurdly placed.

@@ABVentures Haanji 20,000 for underbody & then roughly 5000 for DEF tank protection. Bahut costly hai but kya karein no option. Aap ka toh level hi alag hai sab kuch khud hi jugaad kar lete ho woh bhi permanent. Salute 🫡

Sadly Nothing much. You'll have to add additional lights in bumper or grill to compensate. Or downgrade with base level headlight unit and fit them with aftermarket LEDs

Hi Ashish, thanks for the long term review. I have one question, as you upgraded the tyre size, have you done any re-calibration of odometer/speedometer? or there is some error in odometer/speed readings.

Nope no recalibration done. As per govt norms all vehicles show higher speed than actual by a margin of 5-6%. So now my Vehicle shows perfectly correct reading due to increased diameter

Dude look carefully. I made it out of my wife's compact makeup box 🤣. By taking out all the stuff and making a hole in it's base for selector button. If you look closely you'll see impression of round mirror on lid. She nearly killed me for this..😅

@@sandeepkumar-tu9fy both Scorpio-n and Roxx have same chassis therefore maybe same GC. The only difference will be in Approch and departure angles. Since Roxx will be a completely new design I'll suggest go for Scorpio-n. It's already in market from past 3-4 yrs. Tried and tested. Plus Scorpio-n is better looks wise and more spacious. Rest depends on personal choice

​@ABVentures Chassis is not exactly the same. It is highly modified Gen-4 Platform which is 18% (40 kg) lighter than the platform of Scorpio-N. And the GC of the Thar is much higher than the Scorpio-N. It is similar to the Thar 3-Door, ie :- 225-226 mm (and it is also visible as well) as told by my nearest dealership and some renowned automotive journalists/Channels as well who drove the Roxx for many kilometers.

The chassis is same with little modification to place susceptible parts differently. GC is higher mainly because of higher diameter tyres. Hope you understand the concept where even if you change a position of nut or bolt it's called a modification and then marketed under names like 4th -5th gen. So yes while there are some changes underneath but the basic design is same as Scorpio-n.

Xuv 700 AWD is good, but in extreme off-road conditions they can't perform as good as a 4WD

Nope. First I always prefer manuals, especially if the terrain is offroad. Secondly my variant Z4 is not available in automatic 4x4 only MT diesel. AT 4wd is available in top end variant which was way out of my budget. I got what I wanted in this priceband So no regrets. ✌️

Very good review, very informative 👍 I've also suffered thrice from dpf choking in one year of bolero neo that has been driven 26k kms 90 percent in himachal. Def pump was also replaced at 15k kms bcs of leakage under warranty, Tyres are poor ek bar side wall cut gya aur puncture 2,3 baar ho chuke major and I don't drive rash!
