In my opinion, if this thar is to penetrate the kinda luxury suv market at this price point, you have to have a interior like this which feels lux and that too many owners, especially the 5 door ones would not really take it extreme off roading, so while they would have a premium suv which doesnt feel like a jeep one bit from the inside, they have the peace of mind of this being a capable jeep/thar under the bonnet and the exterior too.

Why is everyone just reviewing the obvious? I would like to know the following: 1. How does 4x2 drive on highways, city and off-road 2. 12.99 lac is just a gimmick. All the variants along with the features should be talked about. Like sunroof doesn't come in 12.99. You just have to shell out a hell lot of money to get that sunroof variant and 19 inchers 3. Is 4x2 gonna skid a whole lot on muddy terrains 4. How much do the dual tone variants start from? 5. For how long a family of 5 can travel in this car without a sore back and butt ET CETRA????

My main criticism for this car is Mahindra adding all those comfort and feel good features for the average buyer and this not being targeted towards people who actually want an SUV. So now this is very appealing to all the wannabees in our cities who'll now have all the more reason to drive over footpaths and places where they shouldn't be. Mahindra for sure knows its target audience.

Mahindra wants to make Thar a mainstream brand, so their target audience is everybody who dreamed of owning a Thar but didn't find it to be a practical first car. So with the Roxx, Mahindra has tried to make it as plush and techy as possible so as to appeal to a broader spectrum of consumers, while still keeping that SUV character.
