I am using Neo and believe me it's really a practical car. U can go anywhere whether it's highway or off-road. Its mileage is superb . Family will love it. And look at the price of the car. I don't think at that price u won't find any suv. It can give competition even to a good suv.

I did research on Neo for almost 8 months, already have old 2017 model crde Thar for myself wanted alternative for wife Honda City EX , thought of buying 2021 Honda City as 2022 model was claustrophobic, Wife insisted for sedan other alternative was skoda Slavia and VW virtuas, worth taking model was out of budget, Had a budget of 12lac. Did numerous visit to Mahindra showroom XUv 300 was another alternative so in between three Neo , 300 , City . I had to choose one I did bet on Neo bought in July. Neo is sedan with Suv body. It doesn't like to go beyond 120km. Not a very agile car but apart from that it can give a run for money even to Scorpio, seltos , creta and others. Complete wholesome intrinsic value car in 12lac. I bought N8 version. I am completely satisfied.

Thar is a great vehicle for the young and excitable, but for a practical family man in his day today chores an SUV to tackle his terrain the neo is a much much better option. Mahindra has deliberately kept its capabilities below par to promote the Thar and other vehicles in its portfolio. Plonk in the drive train of Thar in the Bolero neo with larger sized wheels and traction control and you will have a beast in your hands, good for anything

Awesome review!! Thar is a capable car however it needs: 1) Better suspension set up as it gets wobbly even on minor undulations 2) High speed stability needs to be sorted 3) Better Ergonomics 4) Better creature comforts for the price it charges esp. LX model 5) Better build quality one off-road trip and the hard top starts to rattel a bit 6) Ceiling insulation as the cabin is prone to both heat and cold weather conditions

Bolero looks much better than neo, Bolero should be upgraded with xuv300,s engine along with projector headlights and led tail lamps and I hates mahindras beige white interiors in bolero,neo,xuv300,700 and classic scorpio,which gets dirty soon

I have a 2016 Tuv T8 equipped with an MLD (installed free by Mahindra).. don't really use it for off-road but when i do...i really like the look on the faces of my fellow colleagues who own harrier, creta, safari, scorpio,seltos.. the only change i would love to see is a 4 cyclinder..instead of an existing 3. great video boys 💪🏾💪🏾

What a disappointing video. Expected some real off-road ... not just driving on a dusty trail. Should have done some inclines, big depressions, rocks etc... at lease get the MLD into action ... Nothing... just two guys jabbering about the cars and driving them on a dusty patch. Not just the Bolero Neo, but "EVERY" car in the Indian market would do the trail you did in the video. The fanboy "cool cool cool cool" about the Thar was just unbearable.

A quick but through comparison in day to day life which clears most of the doubts to make a decision. Neo seems much practical instead a raised hatchback. But any news of offering the same with automatic transmission? If so, the wait would be justified.

Forget MLD. Clever part of bolero Neo is the engine itself. It's 3 cylinder. Which gives it more than adequate low end grunt. In the test ride, I could raise this car from a bylane to the 1 foot higher mainroad, from stalled condition, IN THE 3RD GEAR. No other 1.5 ltr engine will give such effective low end. Its a very capable machine. Only reason I didn't buy it because I felt it to be top heavy and high speed stability has question mark.

Bolero neo is a practical package. But it really looks ugly especially from side angles. The 2019 facelift tuv300 looks better than it. And the Neo really needs a 1.2L petrol engine. Buying a diesel no longer makes sense if not used regularly.

"the Neo can go wherever the Thar goes", absolutely ‼️ & Where it won't, you can walk the distance faster 😅. 2wd has a lower turning circle radius and higher overall gearing. Brilliant for those of us who need to battle it out in the urban jungle. Which makes us long for a reincarnation of the old Invader based on this Neo.

Neo.. has no offroading abilities it gets stuck in the lightest of diches.. with rear wheel free there is no extra traction on the other Tyre.. it's comfortable in size I have N10 done 5000kms..
