Her music flows so well, almost as if it's all improvised on the spot. As you listen, you can feel the words being created, and just coming out of her mind and heart. Alice is a discovery of those that only happen from time to time. She is superb, faithful to her music and every time it seems that there can be no more and there always is. The band is absolutely great. I love those Lyle Mays climates, the bass that is an essential part of the sound along with the drums. Sax and guitar fit like silk and that allows us to expand that music, it is no longer a band, it is a super band. I bought everything that Alicia and Strongboi have published because you have to support this music that is maintained without concessions. If you like it, support them to continue creating.
