A lot of peoples argument for mahomes was that he came into a winning system and that’s a big reason why he has had so much success.. mind you chiefs had Alex smith and won 1 playoff game with him before mahomes.. purdy stepped into the 49ers who took Jimmy g to the Super Bowl.. has yet to win a ring.. I say that to say if purdy is actually that great he should’ve won a ring by now based on how terrible we see Jimmy g actually is and he went to a bowl with the 49ers.. and 49ers arguable are better now then they were then..

Nick has said th K.C. defense was the best in the League last year. A lot of weeks during the season last year when the K.C. offense was struggling, Nick would say the defense hadn't given up more than thirty points, was holding teams to around 21 points per game, and was great in the second halves of games. He then would say, eventually the offense would figure it out because of Mahomes, Kelce, and Reid. He also said, during the part of the season when the Chiefs were struggling, that if a team has the best coach, best qb, and best defense, why wouldn't they be the favorites going into the playoffs? Wildes consistently pushed back on that.

@@scottreigle1756 they have CEH and prince who will do enough, CEH can be released and then theres another guy behind prince who's good. Pacheco played heavily injured last year, barely slows him down. But they can make any RB look good. Everyone who's played well then left the chiefs has become a nobody.

Twitter posting Mahomes stats really makes Nick mad 😂 Sorry, but Mahomes does lead the league in most TD passes of 5 yards or less, along with highest % of TDs 5 yards or less. And just because it would make Nick salty, I'll point out that Josh Allen is the complete opposite end of the spectrum. Most TD passes 15+ yards, along with most TD rushes of 5+ yards. Edit: Looks like a struck a nerve with Chiefs fans. Mahomes has to be #1 in everything ever, otherwise they can't handle it 🤣

@CalebJohnston Last 4 years? FOUR? Your number is wrong anyway, so no idea where you got that stat. The player (both RB & QB) with most rushing TDs 5 yards or less since 2021 is *Jalen Hurts* with 22, yet you claim Allen had 28 🤣 Allen doesn't even make the top 10 list, and 10th place is CMC with 8! Just 8! And I specified "last year" anyway, then you deflected & claimed "false." Here's another fun stat for you since you want to go back further: TD passes of 10+ yards since 2021 - Josh Allen with 54 (#1) and Mahomes with 17 (tied for #16 with Mac Jones & Davis Mills) 🤣 But you just can't be happy with the SB wins & MVPs, you gotta pretend Mahomes is best in EVERYTHING, and EVERY YEAR.

Training camp interceptions are the dumbest thing ever. Offenses with young QBs still trying to get a feel for their entire skillset typically are asked to do a lot without anything on the line. They’re exploring when their abilities tap out so to speak. FWIW, Fields never had a ton of picks in camp… but also never developed in the league as a passer. Hmm.
