Well done for researching, compiling and uploading this. Prospects was a very underrated series that had so much potential to develop into a second series and beyond. I was surprised that the series was released on DVD some years back. It's still available too if anyone missed out.

Just found out that Peter Mcnamara and Ken Campbell have died, two great supporting actors from the 80's onwards that I saw in many different thing and by all accounts good people. I heard that Mcnamara was being hounded by the department of work and pensions until his final day and that the media and all it's darlings didn't even report his death.

Breaking Glass was 1980. Prospects was first aired in 1986, and so was probably filmed in 1985.

Brilliant. I loved that programme, and very much if it’s time. Just as the old Docklands had gone and the new one was starting to emerge. So many great actors and the groovy theme tune sung by Ray Dorset. It would have been nice it they had made a few more series. Perhaps one for Talking Pictures TV or London Live to re-run?

Mike Savage (20/5/1943) is still going, and is involved with XED Films in Bournemouth. Charlie Hawkins was in a Minder episode also. Micheal Deeks born April 1956 presume still around, was also in SCUM Ben Howard Jan 1940, was also in a Sweeney episode, also the inventor of a Skateboard in the 70's, which are collectors items today. Also one of my Fav series back then, watched the re-runs few years back, Fantastic.

I have never even heard of this series at all, not the vaguest memory whatsoever, I guess it must of been darts or disco night for me or clashed with summat else on the 'other' channel. Which day and what time was it on? I recognise a few of the actors, Hazel O'Connor and many of the others. It is sad though that some of the actors disappeared completely off the radar altogether, I don't know what to think when i see the question marks, I assume it maybe not good news .. prison, care home or just hard times .. but who knows they could equally be living the dream down in Oz who knows. Thanks i love these trips down memory lane, maybe more so when i can't remember a thing about it. Keep 'em comin' .... do you remember 'Survivors' late 70's? Never watched or even glimpsed it but I Claudius? or Family at War? What about 'Bouquet of Barbed Wire' from 70's or 'King' , as a kid i used to love 'Black Beauty' .. yes, it's my bedtime
@MarkMahoney3 жыл бұрын
Yes black beauty was great! Prospects was on in week around 9pm!? It was a school night for me so never missed it! Sorry the question marks is I couldn't find their birthdate, and sadly I couldnt find recent pictures of a few of the actors
