Every time they make fun of their character for coughing or not being able to hold his breath or not being able to get near fire, all I can think is "This dude obviously has asthma. Stop making fun of the asthmatic. This is a serious thing. And actually a good explanation for why he can't run for more than 5 seconds, can't vault small obstacles, can't break anything, coughs every time the air isn't perfect, and can't hold his breath. Good job, game."

The title comes from a Welsh ballad and is the title of a 1872 book by R. D. Blackmore about a foundling child washed ashore. The house became well known from it's inclusion. He began writing the novel as a student but didn't finish it until 25 years later 3 years after he published his best known work Lorna Doone. The actual house is said to be haunted by Elizabeth Williams who was locked in a room to keep her from running off with her lover and a captain of a ship that wrecked at Sker Point.

Maid of Sker look a bit like Bioshock but as a horror game (good i mean, also sounds good), but the gameplay is the standard indie horror (less scary when the monsters are in the open, and more annoying because the protagonist is, apparently, allergic to everything. Still, it would be a nice game for a halloween stream). Also that aurosave (as seen at the end) is not a forgiving one ... so much space to cover yet again (i hate that in game, maybe i'm just getting old :)).
