Super impressive! I definitely want one! Also super impressed with the landing gear. Superior design, and well done prints. That isn't easy to engineer and make. About the esc, I learned a long time ago that even though you aren't over amping the esc, the esc is still switching the full amperage on and off. This is why you never put in an under rated esc for your setup. You can still blow the esc even though you aren't using full throttle.

People, look at the fan design !! The motor has more convection cooling vs creating a vacuum at the end on a normal fan design. That allows for no thrust tube EDF setups and the motor is less likely to over heat because of lack of airflow from defused air. It take a community with these simple well thought through ideas !!

Nice edf build, and the sound is like a real jet, be careful with the Tower Pro servo's, they cunsume a lot of amps, with no load the current is around 2A you need a strong bec for this servos.

All the mods are great. Do you think you would get the same flight time if using Lipo batteries? Adding those cheater holes makes a big difference because the plane was design for a turbine. Again great job on all your work.

Congratulations to the maiden flights. Looks very nice, the sound is really great and now it´s up to optimize it, but i am sure you will take the challange. Pherhaps you can drop the timing a little or set the PWM to 8khz to get the ESC colder. Hobbywing ESC normally are very robust but pherhaps they don´t fit well to a 6pol motor. Was just a little surprised about the final motor setup, but i heard in the video that the first motor was burned at maiden flight. Can you remember my considering of the first setup with the in my opinion to small HET 700-98-935 motor in the first Odyssey video?

Beautiful model, beautiful flying! If you went the other way, to 6s, do you think its possible, what's the lowest all up weight? With Midi Evo 100 I think you said 4.5kg thrust on 2.5KW, would a 120mm fan give enough trust on 6s to fly the Odyssey?

Wow, this is amazing. I am also experimenting with Molicell INR21700 Li-Ion Cell Packs for model aircraft. Do you think I can fly my big L39 with Lithium Ion? Maybe 12s, 12Ah. (6s3P)x2 I have got a Albatros L39, 2m length, 1,5m wingspan, 9kg weight with 12s Lipo. 120mm Hacker Streamfan 700kV and YGE200HV Esc. 130A peak current.
