Nanowar of Steel are a parody metal band and they have been around for over 20 years. The rabbit hole of great videos is huge, and it is always funnier if you know the originals, eg. "Pasadena 1994" (Sabaton), "Sober" (Alestorm), "Uranus" (Steel Panther) or other genres like "Valhalleluja" (Gospel), "Norwegian Reggaeton" (Reggaeton and Black Metal) or even "Protocols of Love" (Backstreet Boys) :D Have fun! :D

Nanowar of steel are amazing song writers and musicians, and this song proves it once again. They have managed to do a clowning parody that is also an honest tribute to Iron Maiden’s style. They have plenty of songs in this vein: “Quest for Carrefour” - beautiful parody of Blind Guardian “Armpits of immortals”, “Hail to Lichtenstein”, “Ironmonger” - parodies of Manowar “Barbie, MILF princess of the twilight” - Rhapsody of Fire parody featuring Fabio Lione himself ! “Heavy Metal Kibbles” - Judas Priest parody, you’ll love that one “Tooth fairy” - Mostly a Stratovarius parody but wa humorous take on the power metal genre in general “Passdena 1994” - a Sabaton parody song about how Italy lost to Brazil at the World Cup ‘94 final with a guest appearance of Joakim Borden himself. Boy, you’ll have a good time with these

The starting point for this song is their first Maiden “cover” 166 the number of the b***h. Why 166? Because in Italy it was the starting number for the hot lines. So in this video they are stating that the first song was about Charlotte the Harlot that in all this years made 7 sons, and exchanged a lot of virus. But they are making nearly 30 references to IM songs here, I think they nailed it. If you want to see them working with Sabaton take a look at Pasadena 1994 (their only sad song), or Barbie Milf Princess of the twilight, or the Quest for Carrefour (blind guardian style), but it’s a 20 years old band they easily become addictive. And Yes just like us they are truly Iron Maiden fans. Up the Iron 🤘🏻

Nanowar isn't power metal, but any style their parodies need. And they're great at pretty much al of them. Plus they never waste a feature, see e.g. Vahalleluja!

The opening guitar part sounded like a combination of "Blood Bothers" and "Don't Look into...". Honestly the animation looks way better than anything Maiden did in the early 2000s Haha

Nanowar of Steel is not a fine line betwen silly and to silly. It's a huge, precipitous chasm of basaltic columns, emblazed with metal (true metal, of course) edges, and they have planted a throne on top of that chasm. They are sitting in that throne, and fro there they're mooning us. And it is AWESOME.

Well, if you found the vocals not too high, this song is mostly sung by Mr. Baffo. Their other singer, Potowotominimak, has a bigger range and gets higher, like in the song "Heavy Metal Kibbles" which is a Judas Priest ... tribute? Or parody? 😅 Metal Boomer Batallion is a cool one as well. In their earlier stuff, they also made "The Number of the Bitch", since you're an Iron Maiden fan 😁...
