Ive tried to dysect the lyrics to find all the Maiden references in the songtext. To flesh out the answers I used ai. Here are all the references I found: 1. Afraid to Shoot Strangers: A track from the album "Fear of the Dark" (1992), dealing with the fear and confusion of soldiers in battle. 2. Stranger in a Strange Land: A single from the album "Somewhere in Time" (1986), about an Arctic explorer who dies and is found frozen years later. 3. Flight of Icarus: This seems to be alluded to with the line "Fly as high as the sun," referencing the Greek myth of Icarus and Daedalus, paralleled in the Iron Maiden song from the album "Piece of Mind" (1983). 4. Wasting Love: A track from "Fear of the Dark" (1992), discussing the emptiness of one-night stands. 5. Women in Uniform: A non-album single released in 1980, covering the song originally by Skyhooks. 6. Run to the Hills: One of Iron Maiden's most famous songs, from "The Number of the Beast" (1982), depicting the conflict between Native Americans and European settlers. 7. Caught Somewhere in Time: The opening track from "Somewhere in Time" (1986), dealing with themes of time travel. 8.Acacia Avenue: Likely referring to "22 Acacia Avenue," a song from "The Number of the Beast" (1982), about the life of a prostitute. 9.The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner: A track from "Somewhere in Time" (1986), inspired by the short story of the same name. 10. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son: The title track of the album "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" (1988), dealing with a mythical child with clairvoyant powers. 11.The Number of the Beast: Title track of the album "The Number of the Beast" (1982), inspired by a nightmare of bassist Steve Harris, dealing with the theme of hell and damnation. 12. Flash of the Blade: A song from the album "Powerslave" (1984), about a young swordsman seeking vengeance. 13. Aces High: The opening track of "Powerslave" (1984), depicting a British RAF pilot fighting during the Battle of Britain in WWII. 14. Running Free: The band's debut single from their self-titled album (1980), about a young man's adventures on the streets. 15. Live to Fly: Likely a misquote or blending of "Aces High" lyrics, pertaining to the theme of flying and freedom. 16. Children of the Damned: A track from "The Number of the Beast" (1982), inspired by the films "Village of the Damned" and "Children of the Damned." 17. Charlotte the Harlot: A song from the debut album "Iron Maiden" (1980), about a prostitute. This character is revisited in "22 Acacia Avenue." 18. Fear of the Dark: The title track of the album "Fear of the Dark" (1992), dealing with the universal fear of darkness and what lies within it. 19. Rime of the Ancient Mariner: A lengthy track from "Powerslave" (1984), based on the poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge about a cursed sailor's tale. 20. Can I Play with Madness: From the album "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" (1988), dealing with a young man's confrontation with a prophet. 21. Hallowed Be Thy Name: A song from "The Number of the Beast" (1982), contemplating a man's thoughts just before his execution. Edit 1: Yes, the commenters below are correct, I used ai. I used ai to fill in the gaps, after writing down the titles I knew.

22. Virus, A song from "Best of the Beast" (1996) 23. Don't Look Into the Eyes of A Stranger, a song from "Futureal" (1998) 24. The Evil That Men Do, another song from "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" (1988) 25. Only The Good Die Young, yet another song from "Seventh Son of a Senventh Son" (1988) 26. Strange World, a song from their debut album "Iron Maiden" (1980) 27. "Falling Down" is a reference to "Man on the Edge", a song from "The X Factor" (1995), a song about an office worker about to commit suicide due to financial struggles 28. Be Quick Or Dead, song from "Fear of the Dark" (1992) 29. No Prayer for the Dying, song from "No Prayer for the Dying" (1990) 30. "You'll take my virus and I'll take yours too" is a reference to "The Trooper", a song from "Piece of Mind" (1993). The song starts with the lyrics "You'll take my life but I'll take yours too". Oh and "Live to Fly" isn't a misquote, Aces High has exactly that verse in its chorus. (Run, live to fly, fly to live, aces high)

Pretty well, done because that playing style is taxing to say the least but you nail it. Watching the vid, I realize the lyrics are as if Dickinson forgot to put on his oxygenmask flying to his next gig. Seems like it's basically as many maiden-lines as possible crammed into the verses and never mind if it makes any sense. But the cartoons are awesome! I don't know how many nights I've been sitting listening to Maiden while drawing Eddie from the album covers. It puts me right back in that mellow late-night mood. Let me tell you a story. In Perugia (of course, I will be at your concert) there is a street called Via dell'Acacia that leads into one of the areas inhabited by Perugia's upper middle class. The funny thing is that, otherwise, down the hill this area is home to some of the worst neighborhoods in Perugia. Therefore, I imagined this song as the soundtrack of the hapless man on duty who, a victim of one of the many things that can happen in said neighborhoods, is chased by a thug and begins his climb toward Via dell'Acacia in the hope of reaching the top of the hill and being safe.

Do you think a parody of "The Hu", the Mongol rockers, is possible?

This is so much fun, but the most impressive thing is not what they did here, but that they did it in less than 7 minutes.

Charlotte isn't cheap, and isn't young either, you can't expect anything longer than that.

I died at the long distance runner. And then they kept going with it. The evil that the long distance runner do indeed.

This is strangely unsettling. Like, I know how the melody should go, and it goes the other way but it's also the right way, and I know where it should go from there, but then it does a seemless U-turn into another one... Anyone else feels like they're in a backseat of a car speeding down a mountain road? Incredible work, guys, keep it up.

I will list as many references/easter eggs as I can find (if you find any missing feel free to suggest them as a reply and I will update) Starting with the elephant in the picture - super obvious for anyone who have ANY knowledge about Iron Maiden and their music. The song is a reference to them! Yeah, I know I am a genius for figuring it out! Thus the main character in the video is the Iron Maiden's mascot Eddie (the humanoid monster which is always presented on their album/single covers in one shape or another). Abbreviations of the Iron Maiden albums: IM = Iron Maiden; K = Killers; NotB = Number of the Beast; PoM = Piece of Mind; P = Powerslave; SiT = Somewhere in Time; SSotSS = Seventh Son of the Seventh Son; NPftD = No Prayer for the Dying; FotD = Fear of the Dark; X = The X Factor; V XI = Virtual XI; BNW = Brave New World; DoD = Dance of Death; AMOLAD = A Matter of Life and Death; FF = Final Frontier; BoS (Book of Souls); S = Senjutsu The title of the song (and the whole chorus) is a reference to 4 of Maiden's songs: Afraid to Shoot Strangers (FotD), Don’t Look to the Eyes of a Stranger (V XI), Stranger in a Strange Land (SiT) and Strange World (IM). The lyrics are formed from the titles and partial lyrics of Iron Maiden songs. In order of appearance these are: Flight of Icarus (PoM), Wasting Love (FotD), Women in Uniform (single), Run to the Hills (NotB), Caught Somewhere in Time (SiT), 22 Acacia Avenue (NotB), Be Quick or Be Dead (FotD), The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner (SiT), No Prayer for the Dying (NPftD), Seventh Son of the Seventh son (SSotSS), Flash of the Blade (P), Aces High (P), Man on the Edge (X), The Evil that Man Do (SSotSS), Running Free (IM), Aces High again, Children of the Damned (NotB), Charlotte the Harlot (IM), The Number of the Beast (NotB), Fear of the Dark (FotD), Virus (single), Rime of the Ancient Mariner (P), Can I Play with Madness (SSotSS), Hallowed be Thy Name (NotB), The Trooper (PoM), Only the Good Die Young (SSotSS). On the music side while the majority of the song sounds like Iron Maiden there are 2 parts in particular that resembles more specific parts of their songs: the opening 0:05-0:47 and during the credits 5:44-6:20 sounds like the opening of Blood Brothers (BNW), Dance of Death (DoD) and Face in the Sand (DoD) (thanks to @pauloviniciosappelt9789) the solo at 3:59-4:25 resembles the last part of the solo in the song Sign of the Cross (X) (at around 9:13-10:08) As for the video. After 2 times watching I have find only a few of them. Surely there will be more to add Virus (maybe the song maybe the COVID-19) references across the pretty much whole song Many planets maybe referring to Out of the Silent Planet (BNW) or When Two World Collide (V XI) Also a lot of shooting stars - maybe reference to Speed of Light (BoS) 0:31 and 1:24 The sign with 22 Acacia Avenue is pure reference to the song mentioned in the lyrics as well 0:42 and 2:35 166 on the NOKIA is reference to the Number of the Bitch (previous parody of Nanowar of Steel) 1:42, 3:35 and 5:15 the explosions reminds the ending of the Writing on the Wall (S) 2:30, 3:14, 4:14 4:47 The children of Charlotte the harlot and The number 7 in red shirt looks suspiciously like Cristiano Ronaldo - the 7th son (thanks to @claudioviola1445)! 3:43 Crossing of the blade maybe reference to Duelist (P) 2:07-2:11 and later on the scenes with the blazing blade has a microphone on the end of the handle referring to the lead singer of the song Flash of the Blade - Blaze Bailey (thanks to @claudioviola1445)

The number 7 in the shirt means the guy is the 7th son of... Charlotte. The knife (blade) with a mic in the place of the handler is a reference to... Blaze.

Love how the vocal delivery straddles the lines between Bailey and Bruce. Bailey in tone, Bruce in inflection. So much detail, and Charlots Mariner Virus was something else. Its so good it's surreal!

Epic! I was kinda trapped waiting for the Queensryche reference that alas never came. But that's okay. Officer of the deck, put this at the top of my playlist. Edit for a quick thought. Just think if the last line was, "and I raise my hand to shoot into the eyes of a stranger" Then outro Queensryche Eyes of a stranger, Iron Maiden style. Ohhhhh man
