I've been finding out what my kayak preferences are for the last 6 years. I've done the feelfree, jonny boat, and jackson. The frontier is it, ordering one over the winter.

Canoe looks great. I like the hazard color too. Thinking about this setup for sea run cutts up here in the PNW’s inshore salt 🐟🛶

That would be awesome. Great for that extra stability too.

Hey SJ Outdoors I am considering getting this kayak. Do you still like it ? Only con I have seen so far is one guy complained about the plastic being thin, and his floor was bowing. With that being said I am still leaning to this kayak. Thanks

1000% | Hey Richard, Ive now been all over the southeast with my F12 and have fallen in love. The open floor plan and versatility of different configurations on the transom and bow mounting is a game changer. Check out my latest video on the Motorguide Bow Mount if you haven't seen it. I bet what is being referenced with the plastic being thin is that owner has let his support block underneath the standing deck slide out of place. The plastic of NuCanoe has turned out to be perfect for me. It's firm enough to support but soft enough to scratch "Not Crack" on impact. Let me know if you have trouble finding one in stock and we'll check the national inventory.

Awesome man thanks ! There are pros and cons to everything but I really like what I see in this kayak. And oh yeah I am all in on putting a bow mount motor on.

How is it to paddle in rapids? Is it maneuverable?

You planning on adding the Pivot drive when it comes out. I have the flint but just not sold on the pivot drive.

Maybe one day, I'll be mainly drifting the rivers and will appreciate having a open floor plan. I added a 30lb troller i'll be showing in my next video for back-up.

Look forward to having one someday !! Were you wearing breathable waders ? That’s what I planned on wearing when I run my Tamarack this spring until it warms up
@SJOutdoors6 жыл бұрын
Hey Glen, I was wearing my light-weight Orvis waders crossing my finger I didn't go overboard. I did have a lifejacket on at all times.

GREAT KAYAK UNLESS YOU GET IN ROUGH WATER THE OTHER DAY LIKE I DID AT LAKE PERRIS. THOUGHT THE THING WAS GOING TO TURN OVER EVERY SECOND. ALSO NEEDED LONGER PADDLE. IF IT IS WINDY IM NOT GOING OUT IN IT FOR SURE. THE HIGH SEAT REALLY MAKES IT SCARRY.

Yeah man, I've had stability issues in a 13ft boat when the water turns rough. Better just to be on dry land once it gets that bad.
