Easily will handle up to class II - class III would be fine if it's big water (technical water may be tricky due to size of the boat, but you could do it with the right skill set). The 42" width and catamaran are super stable. Of course you could flip it in a big wave or hole, but that would be more related to the skill of the paddler to handle that type of water.

Add the rail system for mounting all of my accessories and a mesh swivel seat like Nucanoe has. The mesh seat keeps my a$$ and back from sweating. Once you add those two items, I might buy one. That aluminum seat looks awesome, but it seems to be too tall. I am concerned about transporting it. When I get to the water, I do not want to wait to inflate it. Another question for myself is how would I inflate it? Foot pump, hand pump?? Too hot in TN to be pumping up a boat manually.
@whitewaterhelix6 ай бұрын
Good questions - first on the aluminum seat, it breaks down very small, so doesn't take up a lot of space when disassembled - only need an allen key to assemble. Second on the inflation - the boat comes with a low pressure electric pump + manual pump for topping off. Total time to inflate with one person is about 7 minutes, and the manual effort part is about 3 minutes of that.
@Kevin_D16 ай бұрын
@@whitewaterhelix Thanks for the reply. I like this Flywater craft but without a swivel seat and rail sysem its a hard "no" for me. NuCanoe has spoiled me with the mesh swivel seat. I am also indifferent about having to inflate and deflate the craft. If I lived next to a body of water and could drag it to the water when I wanted to use it than I would have no concerns. However, loading it, inflating it and deflating it has its downfalls in my opinion. Although, I could trail it to the boat dock. Two questions, what powers the electric pump? Do I need a portable power supply to inflate the craft?
@whitewaterhelix6 ай бұрын
@@Kevin_D1 I hear you - we're working on swivel seat, and a rail system is easy to install with the universal mounts and I've been testing that, but it's just a matter of our small team having the bandwidth to get everything done. You could get an after-market swivel seat, install two gear tracks and have an elevated swivel seat pretty easily. I don't deflate mine, I use it all season then deflate in winter. The e-pump is battery powered, about the size of a coffee mug, no external power needed.
