You can store the rods on both sides of the boat where the Velcro straps are which are for the 2 oars that come with the boat. I think you could also pump up the boat more which would take out all those wrinkles. How do I know this you may ask. I also have this boat and I put in a 7 inch pedestal mount with a nice seat. It doesn’t swivel cuz there is not enough room but is far more comfortable and sits you higher up. Good luck with your new boat.

COOL 😎. First fish in your raft. First fish in the creek you got skunked at before, that's Cool 😎. Stood up, ✔. So it seemed to work fine 🙂 and you're off-the-bank. I'd say that went pretty well 👍.

Just put 2 pieces of foam at the end of a removable 6' oar or just a board so you'll have a tiny trimaran, very stable. If you would have had your paddle in your hands it would been a lot easier to stand up and stay standing...

I just bought one a month or so ago and been out around 5 times with it. I really like it a lot but yesterday the canvass cover ripped real bad while I was on the water. I heard a loud pop when I was in 60 feet of water and thought holy shit I'm going down but it never happened. I went into the shore to inspect the noise and found under my seat where the canvass cover is glued to the floor of the boat right under the zipper tore. I just sent pics and an email to SeaEagle to hopefully get it repaired. I'm a little nervous about the quality now.

Id much rather have a kayak but I have no room for one. I went with this raft because it can fit in my trunk and in my closet. If you have the space for a kayak and a means of transporting it, I would suggest a kayak.

Great, honest review! I’m 6 feet tall; do you think this would be too small?
@TylerGoesFishing3 жыл бұрын
Im 5'7 and it felt small for me lol. Its great if you don't have room to store a kayak and want to get off the bank. If you can get a kayak id recommend that. A kayak wasnt an option at the time so i tried this.
@j.taylor73613 жыл бұрын
@@TylerGoesFishing Yeah, I just sold my kayak because it was taking up too much room in my garage and was a hassle to transport on my Corolla LOL. I was thinking of either an inflatable kayak or one of those v-hull belly boat/float tubes.

There are 2 air chambers so if one looses air the other can keep you afloat. Also, the material is super tough. This raft was designed for fishing.

Can it be used in saltwater? Is it easy to dry?

Id be hesitant to use it in the ocean. Its very slow so if you catch a bad current I can imagine it would take a lot of effort to get back. I used it on a windy day once on a large lake and it took so long to get back to the car. my arms were dead.
