I listen to this superb touch of Stedman Caters every morning when I’m doing a physiotherapy exercise for scoliosis and I have to hang over the side of my chair for 15 minutes, it really sets me up for the day. Thank you. Jane Webster (Founder and ex-Chairman of The South African Guild of Church Bell Ringers)

Came across your channel few months ago, probably one of the best pieces of 10 bell ringing I can find on here.

+maidstone10 Also spotted that Derek J Carr rang the 9th to a peal of Yorkshire Royal here in 1992 - here in Gloucestershire we don't see much of him these days! . great exponent of odd touches of doubles - great fun. Mainly at North Nibley, Glos !

You like your Stedman don't you? I like my Grandsire Cinques!
@Steven_Rowe9 жыл бұрын
Ringer Jake I like grandsire to but I prefer ringing stedman on 10 and 12. The reason is simple, with grandsire it is so easy to forget what your last dodge was and so just hope for a call so you can dodge. Withd stedman you dodge all the time unless your doing the slow work..

+steven rowe I find ringing Stedman Cinques hideously boring. As soon as I leave the slow work, I think "God, here we go again!"
@Steven_Rowe8 жыл бұрын
smith23 so what do u like Grandsire is boring because its to easy to forget your next dodge. i do like surprise methods but then I always feel that having the tenor behind sounds better and anchors the rythem loke a metronome

+smith23 How about Kent Treble Bob on higher numbers? Much the same - but not quite the music as Stedman!

I love the Stedman method for its roll-ups and kings, though not quite as much as Rutland! Beautiful ringing. Thank you.

@@spuds4t Not at all, I just have a habit of keeping hold of the sally for a few seconds after setting the bell which I hadn't really thought about until now!
