It's a warcraft 3 reference. It was an optional mission in the tomb of sargeras, where you could collect pieces of Gul'Dan's shadow orb. iirc it gave you stat bonuses.

It's more economic to record additional lines just in case when they realese hero than call voice actress later to record two quotes with 10 seconds lenght.
