I love my co-ax press. No longer chasing spent primers from the rock chucker. As you said changing dies is a snap. I would recommend getting replacement springs for the shell holder. Somewhere on my garage floor I have one of the originals.

Ordered the ACC for my T1x and might 3D print a piece for the mag as you suggested.

Been using the co ax press since 1987. Bought when I was fifteen years old. I have used several different presses over the years and always go back to the co ax.

I like the inline fabrication short roller handle the best for the Forster Co-ax

Good show, thank you. The more you explain about that Bushnell, the more it makes me want one.. I can't wait to see how it does..

Just picked up the new illuminated reticle one straight from bushnell last night. Was on sale for 770 and then used the code from NRL22 for another 25percent off. Overnight shipping to my house was 612 dollars shipped. Cant beat that price.

I would suggest flipping the base plates on the coax for 223 and 308 cases. Once you do it a couple of times it literally takes 3 minutes( I believe there is still a guy selling the captured aftermarket spring plate). Most of my stuck case issues have occurred when I didn’t swap them. The rim of the case gets stripped then doesn’t matter if you flip the base plates because not enough rim left on the case. For bullet seating it’s doesn’t matter but any resizing neck or full length I suggest you change it. You might make it through a couple but when a stuck case does/will occur and then your 15min to 1 hour depending on the tools and knowledge you have to get a case unstuck.

Thanks for the input. I have practiced flipping the plate and the current design makes it rather painless. It seems that they have revised it over the initial design.

I do all my load development on my Forster Coax. When I find "THE" load, I fire up the Dillon 650. I love mine. One note, I have an aftermarket shell plate that captures the springs. Makes flipping the jaws so much easier.

I picked up the 4.5-27x50 ffp Deploy mil forge a few weeks ago on sale ($499 Farm Fleet in store special). I like it, but I'm not in love with it. I had planned on the comparable Athalon...but this was pretty inexpensive for a similar product. Now that I have used if for about 500 rounds on my RPR, I'm not crazy about the magnification range/reticle. I think I'd rather have a 6-24 or 5.5-22. The Deploy reticle is just too course at 27x, and too fine at 4.5 for me. I'd be ok with it if it had a small open center like some of the Vortex reticles. I think I'll naturally hang out in the 8-16x range for most of what I do anyway. I do like the the zero stop, locking turrets, and parallax adjustment 'feel' for the price point. My wife is going to run this rig in the coming season. If she sticks with it I'll upgrade to better glass. But for less than $500 it seems really solid.

Curious about the MDT ACC-RF gen2 Chassis, the website shows the T1x as an inlet option. But it’s nice that the T1x will mount in the Centerfire chassis.

Your Marine Corps sniper rounds were loaded on a Forster. Can't go wrong. Your run out will be nearly zero. Semper Fi brother

M118 and M118LR for use in the Fleet were manufactured in Lake City on industrial loading equipment. However, I have it on rumor that the various rifle teams may load on a CoAx. I have not had a chance to verify that. I am expecting to see a little less runout, but my previous ammo was pretty good. Semper Fi!

I have the most ess chassis, I was told by them to torque the action in at 65 lbs but the torque setting from the factory for this action in a standard synthetic stock is not 65lb. I dk if this is causing accuracy issues.. could this be causing issues

Fancy rifles... When are you going to be able to get your hands on a "poor man's" Ruger American Predator rifle to review? Preferably in an American made Indian Creek Design chassis?! I've seen one of those win several PRS matches! How do I contact you to possibly link up with IDC for one of their RAP chassis for review?! Mine shoots .3 MOA with factory 143gr ELD-X in a pillar bedded stock...
