I've been running a CZ457 Provarmint in NRL22 for the past couple months and it has served me pretty well. I pillar bedded, glass bedded, opened up the barrel channel, added a DIP large bolt knob, put a YoDave trigger spring in (trigger breaks at 10oz now), and added a Matthew's Fabrication cheek riser. Now it feels very comfortable to get behind, it shoots great with Wolf Match Extra (1/4" @ 50) and pretty good with SK Standard Plus (3/8-1/2" @ 50). One of the short comings I've found with the Provarmint is the Boyd stock having some flex if you load into it aggressively, which is why I'm going to eventually upgrade to a KRG when they come out with a stock for the 457. I wasn't aware of the T1X when I got my 457 in early 2019 but if I was going to look at the 22 market it would be a hard choice between the 2.

Thanks for the detail! Curious what scope are you running?

@@allaheadflank I'm using an Athlon Ares BTR 4.5-27x50, I usually see Athlon Midas Tac, Vortex Viper PST Gen 2, some bushnells. Some guys are running Tangent Theta and Kahles K525i but they aren't that far ahead of us. Zero stops are important for the clubs I shoot at as the match director sometime tosses in a 300yd stage but usually we will shoot out to 235yds.

I'm a long time sub. Looks like 2020 will get you over the 100k mark. I don't have the financial means to afford this hobby, but I do appreciate your expertise & I enjoy the sport, vicariously. Your videos are consistently enjoyable & very educational.

Tikka baby! I’m definitely a fanboy after my first centerfire T3. Out of the box was shooting .35 moa and 1/2 minute on bad days. Definitely think I’m going to pick up the T1x

Do it. I have a 17hmr and 22lr. My 22lr shoots around 1moa 10shot groups at 150 meters, 17hmr shoots 0.5 to 0.8 moa 5shot groups at 150m, around a minute at 200

The T3 version of the Sterk bolt handle is a solid peice and is very strong.

Just curious on the CZ 457 evaluation. How is that going? It would be cool to see a comparison video between it and the T1X.

John I just ordered my first rimfire suppressor form our local NRL22 matches. Can you make a video on how to clean a suppressor?

Great vid and very nice rifle - on parallax knob does are large sidewheel (like airgun shooters use) an advantage. Thx and good shooting in 2020

Nice Video as usual. Looking forward to the ammo choice video for the Tikka 22lr... Also a question, do you see a better accuracy with the chassis you're running as opposed to factory stock ?

Have you mentioned what you prefer for a .22lr zero distance? I've skimmed a bunch of videos, but haven't heard you say anything. I might have missed it though.

I would like to know more about your thoughts on that Skyline bipod. Skyline vs Atlas?
@WoodrowWoods20075 жыл бұрын
Happy 2020! Two questions: (1) How come more long range scope manufacturers don't make 40mm tube scopes? You'd figure everyone would want superior light transmission and dope range. (2) Are you going to do a review on the Ruger 57? I wonder how a 5.7mm pistol would do in competition. Cheers!

What kind of accuracy are you getting with the Tikka vs the CZ? I have the 457 and it has done well beyond my expectations. If the tikka is more accurate I would like to get my hands on one.

What ammo does your t1x like?
@davidneff7305 жыл бұрын
If you put a factor t3 stock on your t1x dose that bump you out of bace class I've been told the t1x stock is crap
@AndersVestlund5 жыл бұрын
David Neff - The T1X stock is the exact same as T3 except the butt pad and a plastic piece inside the barrel chamber to present a pressure point for the 22LR.

I know you don't like to address the issues of gun and red flag laws,but Indiana Greg Talyor is trying to pass a bill to restrict the AR platform. You mite not be able to say it because of your KZbin channel,but I can.
