Just an idea, not sure if it would work, but you may be able to use a helical thread insert for that bolt.

Those Hy Score 's were quite powerful but mechanically quite complex so more to break and hard to get or to make spares.

Many years ago I was given a Hy Score Sportster with 3 interchangeable barrels, BB, .177, and .22. The grip was broken off but I managed to find a NOS replacement (try and find one now). It is pretty powerful and fun to shoot, but the spring action jumps so much on firing it is hard to hit much with it beyond 15 feet or so. Also with this model the sight radius is very short which doesn't help. The thing is built like a Russian tractor. I love the shutter loading from the rear. A fun plinker.

I have a Gecado rifle in .177 but on the stock it has a HY-Score medallion. I assume it's original. I wish I could find some more info about it.

Don’t know anything about that one. I do know hy score did get some items from diana which is also geco/gecado

Im have troubles with mine opening and closing . It seems that the pivot fold on the stem is getting hung up on the spring, any suggestions?

i have a model 700 hy-score 177 pellet pistol . what we have found out its from 1947 . the thing thats wrong is im missing a part that goes in the cap where you load pellet . gun has great power it just don't shoot the pellet out . any help would be great . can you get parts and what the part am i looking for
