This isn't the only way to do it.
It's probably not the best way to do it.
But it's how I did it.

If I had access to a lathe I would try making the heat break out of PEEK.

You may want to look for a bi-metal all-metal heat break which is supposed to do a better job of heat breaking by using stainless steel at the threads and thru the thin section, and copper for the part that is in the cooling fins up top. The one I installed works REALLY well so far and I made sure it did the step down so the tube does NOT go all the way down into the hot part of the hot end.

My understanding of a full metal means the PTFE tube stops at the pneumatic fitting and doesn't enter the hotted at all..

I love my Brother PTE-550W (after getting over the sticker shock). If that knockoff will handle the formatting of labels like the PT, it’s a great addition to any shop. My only complaint is that you can burn through a lot of tape or heat shrink because of the way it feeds before the printing starts.

I bought a genuine brother printer in a Lidl discount promo for about 20 EUR. It has less features, but it's extremely useful. I use it for everything. You should buy all kind of color cartridges. There are even transparent cartridges with white or black ink.

Just watch-out if you leave a Samsung in storage, because if you let the battery go flat it will swell and pop the phone open, ie, it needs to be charged from time to time even in storage.

@@SidneyCritic - yes, however as I said it can happen to ALL lithium batteries. It's a normal failure mode, I have 2 iPhones that have completely popped open, yet my Samsungs have not swelled.

Sweet, at university I enterd a beer into a competion using Maple syrup as the sugar base. Got 5th place. My next year entry was rejected )-:, it also went bang in the closet, luckly double garbage bag sealled. For the Amplifier, you are better using a PAM8403 which is Class D. Power out at 5V... HXJ8002 @ 10% THD : 2.65W (4 Ω), 1.5W (8 Ω) PAM8403 @ 10% THD : 3.2W (4 Ω) 1.8W (8 Ω) HXJ8002 @ 1% THD : 2.0W (4 Ω), 1.3W (8 Ω) PAM8403 @ 1% THD : 2.5W (4 Ω), 1.4W (8 Ω) So, a bit more power, plus it's a stereo chip so smaller PCB and < 2x the price.

Nice label maker, much more advanced than mine. The first thing I labeled was the label maker. LOL. I recognised the number on the amp chips immediately, ha ha. I took one off my BT speaker yesterday. And then blew the chip up. Oops. (I had the chip upside down when I put power into it)

Great vid as usual Mr.Stuff. Just my thoughts though on the hot end item you got. I would have thought that the filament would need as much protection and support as possible to as close to the heated nozzle as possible. If you have the ptfe tube further back in the heat break from the nozzle end will this not create a void which will then possibly fill with soft\melted filament and block the hot end? What do you think?
@pileofstuff
@pileofstuff Жыл бұрын
ON the one I was hoping to get, that support comes from the narrowed part of the metal tube. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong one.

@@pileofstuff Regarding the Heatbreak, I got help from here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rnLMho1tfambmq8 I added to my Ender 3V2 four essential modifications: 1. Jyers UI 2. Bedlevel Sensor 3. The Bowdentube movement fix: kzbin.info/www/bejne/opPSdYZ-ZZ5na8k 4. Slice Engineering Bi-Metall Heatbreak as recommended by Stefan Since I have installed that heatbreak I have not Printhead related issues whatsoever. No clogging, just fine and evenly printing. Highly recommended. (I hope this commend will make it this time)
