Youngjae actually injured his neck when they were filming this MV so that’s why he’s only in the opening scene and when the last chorus starts his vocals are throughout the entire MV but just not shown during the solo performances they had to rework MV somewhat to accommodate the injury but part where he comes in at the end is perfect

@@DezzyMarch yeah he’s feeling better now they performed full choreo during Weekly Idol it’s awesome!! but it was weird for him to not really be in the MV performance wise but he also had to sit out the dance parts during their recent virtual fan sign cause they wanted to rest for comeback performances so we knew he had the injury but didn’t realize what the MV was gonna look like but he’s better most important thing

Actually no. That's not the reason. Though he did injure his neck YJ showing up in the video when he did was because he was the last piece. Since he was the last to join the group he represented the missing last piece. According to the interview Got7 gave.

I saw one ahgase comment that Youngjae was Got7's "missing last piece." He was the last to enter JYP, the last to be placed in the group and without him we would not know Got7 as we do today. To the most SKZ are the one slightly inspired.
