Lobo is a dapper gentleman. I see many Maine Coons with swagger. They know they look great and flont it. My Persians all had it too. I have a beautiful short hair kitty who is very much a 17yr lod princess. She is sweet. Happy 10 mo birthday Lobo.

I have 2 half Maine Coon kittens, 5 months old. The girl is small and has the Maine Coon fur, very fluffy and the boy is large and looks like a normal, short haired cat. They are just adorable.

I remember the short video when he was a baby still... So cute how he would kick his back legs to get the momentum needed to get flopped over so his belly was available for lovins'! 💜🐾🐾

I’ve heard it said that the dad’s personality has a lot to do with the kittens, so if the dad is friendly they’re more likely to be friendly, etc. Maybe why Moose and Lobo are so different! Though I have two full siblings from the same litter, and they’re so different from each other in some ways too! Harvey’s quite boisterous in how he plays and is always ready to rough and tumble (one of the challenges at the moment is he’s transferred his excitement about food time from wrestling with his sister while I’m getting the food out of the can and into the bowls, onto trying to wrestle with my legs - sometimes it starts with a nuzzle and then a nip, other times it’s a full paws out pounce, but it hurts and I haven’t found a way to change this behaviour yet! 😬), whereas Nikita is so sweet and loves to groom me! She’s also more adventurous and eager to explore while Harvey hangs back (the opposite to how they were at the start!), and she’s very sassy and naughty when I’m trying to get her to come back inside my flat when she wants to strut up the corridor outside and roll on the floor! Harvey’s very affectionate in the evening and loves to lie on his bed high up near the kitchen counter when I’m cooking, and get lots of scritches and strokes, whereas Nikita wants more love in the morning, and will rush to greet me in bed and wants lots of snuggles, and will spend most afternoons sleeping on her bed on my desk (or sometimes on my lap!) 😻

Lobo is a very handsome boy who is growing into a handsome young man. It's hard to believe he's almost a year old. I hope he's as well behaved when he reaches his second birthday. My tuxedo shorthair has finally gotten over some of his naughtiness. He waits until bedtime to get into mischief. He chomps my big toe to get me up to rub his belly. If that doesn't work he bites the top of my 👣. He still does this but not as often as when he was younger. He's three. Best wishes to you all for happy holidays. Be sure to keep your black 🐈‍⬛ s safe from Halloween. Some people have gotten the idea that they are witch cats and need to be sacrificed.

The Black and white Maine Coon I have was found as a little kitten in a shed in our area. He's a wonderful boy. Are there reputable breeders of Maine Coon cats or is it difficult to find?

Yes, there are many reputable Maine Coon breeders on cfa.org and tica.org. You just have to do your research and be careful of scammers!

Our Gus turned 10 months on the 5th of November. Gus is not a mellow as Lobo, but not really naughty either. He does, however, seem to look for trouble hahaha
