How do you get the knots out of their fur. I frequently brush, but still gets matted. I have a long haired Maine Coon and lost a medium haired who lived to be 18. Both get/got matted knots I had to cut out and they hate it! Help!

I have a female Main Coon cat, they are really loving, smart and the do things that other cats don’t do, hair is everywhere and food I give 2 times a day, she likes oranges and bananas and strawberries, yogurt and lots of water, I love her so much and I wouldn’t stop loving her, thank for sharing this video, bring more info about them please 🙏

Oh, the patience thing.... Mine is almost 3 years old now and can eat perfectly fine without me being there. But, when I'm home she can be very instistent for me to just get closer and watch her eat.

Mine doesn't care for human food and that sounds like a blessing 🙂 Whenever she feels like it she will come into the bedroom though and tell me it's time to get up;..

Dosent matter with animals because as we all lnow we love them just the way they are no matter what. They love us too. Yep they are like kids but alot of fun and different characters of course. Love then anyway

We just brought our kitten home. We needed his name to be able to book his Vet appt. We had SOO many names but nothing felt right. We ended up going with Kingsley. We have only had him 5 days. He is our 2nd Maine Coon. Kingsley is super smart and snuggly. Pure white. Love your Albus!

Thank you for your videos. I’ve had my 5 yo male Tiger cat for the last 4 years who is the king of the castle, as you know and he has so much energy, zoomies and vocal, especially at our bedtime . 😂 I want to get him a friend and companion and have been on Facebook looking at Maine coon kittens for sale do my cat isn’t alone all day and can run off his energy - together

Let me ask you! I have a friend claiming he just received this exact same cat breed for free! Person that gave it to him claimed it’s a Maine coon! No way right? Who would be out here giving out these cats for free!?!?! So my question for you is, is there anyway to look at the cat and tell if it’s a mane coon or not? This cat is also a kitten right now.

I have a Maine Coon cat for 15 years; the steps 1-9 are right on. It's like having a dog rather than a cat. My cat, Heather, loves Temptation treats . . .. she does talk to me. I am a dog person, have a Maltese, but the cat steals my heart [and attention] all the time. Looking forward to more comments/video from you and your cat family.

A friend of mine found a Maine Coon and just before my boyfriend passed away his daughter gave my cat away I loved her so she was so affectionate and loved me back unconditionally. And she gave her away her away this was 4 years ago and I'm still aching over it

I am truly serious about getting a Maine Coon. I have loved & lived with cats all my life. I really love the fact they're called gentle giants. I also love the idea that they are somewhat dog-like. I lost my puppy to cancer and all of cats grew to be 17 - 19 yrs old. I am ecstatic that MCC live 15+ years. However I don't have $500 - $2200 to spend for a cat at this time. I am very sorry I didn't scoop up this MCC kitten when I first started looking at $300. I'm doing a lot of research so it was great to get your information. So far nothing has discouraged me😊

Please never buy a puppy or kitten because they are a “purebred” breed. There are thousands of kittens and older cats that are Maine coon mixes AND purebreds that need loving indoor only homes. Look for Maine coon rescues online in your area and beyond if necessary. Buy purchasing animals from breeders you are only perpetuating the cycle of misery and overpopulation of animals that will be killed in shelters across the US each year. And check out your local shelters. I have a large Maine Coon mix that I rescued from a high kill shelter and he is gorgeous and amazing and loves people plus other cats.

Cute cat he took a bit for some reason mine is just massive. He is maybe 7 or 8 months and is 15 ish pounds close to 16 he is smoke very neat cats they are super cool and very intelligent compared to a normal cat.

Can't imagine having 1 human baby, 5 fur barbies, 1 job (?), keeping yourself sane, and trying to make content for LWMC. Do what you love and keep it easy. I bet short videos seeing you, baby, and the kitties interacting in daily life and commenting on whatever ridiculousness you dealt with for the day, week, etc., would be celebrated. No cuts or edits. Just let it roll.
