So true. I can’t boil the kettle or open the refrigerator or my two Maine Coons will sit near their bowl like they haven’t been fed in weeks. But even one kibble will please them ❤️

3:25 - 3:28 why do you let them eat out of a tiny can with sharp edges that they can cut their tongues on? Please use a bowl, ceramic rather than plastic or cold metal like you would eat from.

If you provide enough scratching posts, you don't need to clip your cats nails. That's totally unnecessary. I had cats my whole life, they all used the scratch posts regularly and that's enough! Otherwise a good video!

This video made me giggle! I’ve experienced most of these with one of my cats, who wasn’t a Maine Coon. I asked the vet when she was a kitten if there was any chance she was a Maine Coon and the vet said no. She had several traits that reminded me of Maine Coons, but she turned out to be a tiny little cat as an adult, so no. We determined that she was a Tortie and I think Torties might share several traits with Maine Coons? She hated being separated from us by a door and would jiggle the door with her paw until we gave up and just let her in. Thus began 18 years of never being able to sleep deeply. 😄 She would sometimes sleep above my head. She loved to lick my face and would do that to wake me up. If I tried to hide under a pillow or the blankets she’d dig around until she either uncovered me or joined me under the covers. She “talked” to me a LOT. She followed me around the house, came when I whistled, and insisted on sitting on me whenever I sat down. She would join us at the table and actually grab our hands and drag our hands toward her until she could get whatever food we were holding. She was a LOT! 😄 She was also my baby and I loved her dearly. All of those traits allowed us to bond in a way that I’ve never had before or since her. I still miss her. ❤

We are likely getting a 3 years old Maine Coon soon. We have a 5 year old cat who used to have a friend but she passed away only a week ago. It's been so hard for all of us and our younger cat has never been without another cat around and is in mourning. I was told to get a Coon because they are known to take care of other cats as well.

I rescued a stray Maine Coon cat. I would never buy a cat. There are so many on the streets and in shelters than need a home. Anyone that buys a cat is not doing the cat world a favor. You are harming them.

Your Cats are so beautiful!!😘🤎🖤🤍💚🩶💕💕🤗 I have had many different Cats over 30 years and every single Cat had a different personality. My Cat hates when I video or take pictures of her, she'll take a swipe at camera!😂🥰
