Good luck. I'm guessing next week, they'll be in full rut. In my spot, they're not quite there yet but the temps this week didn't help. Swirling winds and warm temps all week make for bad hunting.

It was a bummer but that's alright. I like deer hunting more than bear trapping anyway lol. I'm going to try a new bait site next year. Hoping to get a buck soon!

We have a shootin shack set up looking over our fields. I don't sit in it much because I go stir crazy lol. I love getting out there and seeing all the different things. I'm scouting and hunting at the same time because I don't get out a whole lot earlier in the year to scout.
