Great video, For many years our group went to East Grand on MLK weekend stayed at Cowger's and before that Bradlin's Camps. Watching brings back fond memories of those trips. We targeted salmon for the most part. Glad Mike still is running the cabins great guy. Thanks !

East Grand is right in my neck of the woods. We have found over the years that 30" is almost always 10lbs and 1lb. an inch after that. I'm sure that ratio changes once you get into the mega giants. Great trip.

Lmao. Sounds like your hinting that we'll be enjoying another sled trip passing by the old iron horse on the way to the lake. I'm in construction and I can't believe that you guys did a ton of site work and basically built a very quality home in less than 2 weeks! That is nothing short of amazing. I know you're not insulated, but are you going to live inside this winter while you work on the finish work and enjoy your outdoor hobbies? That new wood stove is gonna just be Choochin" HaHa Lay the wood to 'er! I like the fins on the outside of the new stove. I like the engineering ideas and how heavy duty it is. Looks like you guys used some nice thick plate steel.@@JoeHollandFishing

Joe, incredible Togue! Can you tell me more about the rubber bands that you're using? Size? Never used rubber bands before. Looking forward to trying them out when targeting Brookies this year. Thanks for all you do for the sport!
@JoeHollandFishing Жыл бұрын
I got a short video airing tomorrow morning Dec 1 at 9 am tell all and show all on it that will help I believe. Its an absolute game changer. Especially on Brookies. Hook up ratio was 99% , hang up ratio was 0 for the week. Usually much different without them.

Fish handling skills need a little work. You push this to the extreme in the interest of a good camera shot...Bag Limit (All Fish): Any fish, except baitfish and smelts, taken from inland waters shall be IMMEDIATELY released alive into the water from which it was taken, or killed at once. Any fish killed becomes part of the daily bag limit (Title 12, §12611).
@JoeHollandFishing Жыл бұрын
thanks do you think its ok to take some pictures of fish before releasing them?
@eastgrander8017 Жыл бұрын
A pic or two before releasing is normal, but keeping them out of water for extended periods of time, and even putting them back in the water waiting for the camera to show up can not be good for the fish. I understand that you are looking for views, etc, but don't do it at the expense of the fish.
