French? Interesting. I was raised in Maine. Been gone 33 years now. Moving back soon.

That's a beast. That's an encounter you'll never forget. As for it being close, yeah the Bull could charge and that little sapling this guy is standing behind is nothing that's gonna stop a charging Moose but y'all did right. You got behind something and stopped the Moose while being calm about it. Good job

Many people in Maine depend on wild game in order to survive. Not to mention it is good for the planet to hunt your meat - it saves on industrial farming reliance which is hands down the worst thing on the planet for the planet. Hunting your own meat, though many city people are far removed from the idea and their own food, is rewarding and better for everyone. If it weren't for hunting, there would be no conservation and there would be no whitetail deer left in North America that is a fact.

Jim Church don’t lie, not many people in Maine “depend” on wild game, sure it’s a large sport but not many people eat wild game as opposed to store bought meat on a daily basis

What lucky idiots they are. He could have attacked them so easily. I can't believe this.

Have you spent much time in moose country?
@redlobster10263 жыл бұрын
They won't attack u unless you provoke them. I am a hunter and have plenty of encounters. They are beautiful animals and deserve space and respect. What they did was back up slow and stand behind a tree which is what you should do.

French, lots of French Canadians from Quebec vacation in the state of Maine. I'm presuming that these guys live in Maine though if they're hunting, but I'm not totally sure how that works or if they were even hunting.
