Love maine always have. We bought some land up in the county and are building our cabin so we can retire there. Nothing like fresh / new potatos. Bit of advice to anyone moving there. If you like maine, then don't vote and make it into where you came from. That's about as nice as i can put it.

Hi Nikki, Aroostook County is often referred to as "The Other Maine." There is an ocean of forest from Bangor to Houlton and then potato fields there north. In July it is the prettiest place on earth. Different potato varieties are different colors from off white to purple. AND, it is flat up here. Thanks for watching.

@@YOUandMaine this sounds amazing! I’ve been here since late October and I’ve been all over…Bar Harbor, Greenville, Millinocket(Mt. Katahdin), Boothbay Harbor. This state is so damn gorgeous and so varied! I actually think my favorite area so far is northern Maine….i mean, it’s just such a different vibe and I love it. It’s quiet, clean and the views are, well, like heaven. I am definitely going to head up there for this festival because I really want to see the different colored blooms….cannot wait! Also, your restaurant recommendations haven’t failed me yet! Your channels are little gems and, imo, you showcase your state beautifully.
