How do I play Katana and Banhammer when enemy is actually competent? Idk what to do cus I get shredded if I outstep my boundary even slightly

You'd have to rely on your teammates tbh, like having a boombox for example to keep you alive, having range phighters (or other melees) to deal with the other range on the other team since ranges like slingshot just shreds katana & bham. When in conquer and there's an enemy phighter, I usually try to hide something to keep myself safe and let my other teammates deal with him.

I'd say most likely hyperlaser now since these days my ping just randomly stayed constantly on 200-500 but if it weren't for that it might be skateboard & biograft
