Amazing how many anglers now using bait boat, it’s not angling in my eyes but suppose everyone has choice, well not everyone has they can be expensive. Would like to hear other anglers views

i fish a 53 acre venue, where im at around 200m out. There is no chance you can fish that without a bait boat. Another venue i fish has alot of very old wise carp in... you throw a spod in there and you ARE scaring them off... again, bait boat comes into its own... its just another way of angling. There are many advantages to a bait boat.

I wonder if this was the conversation they had when technology evolved to bite alarms etc, everything moves on with technology, and as with everything, some people embrace it and some don’t, but when it comes to bait boats it’s almost like Vegans, the anti bait boat users have to always make it known 😂

I haven't used a bait boat (yet!), but have no issue with those who do. I don't use a baiting pole either, but can see the potential benefits. Horses for courses, as they say! I enjoy my style of carp angling and am happy to see others enjoy theirs, whichever way they choose to do it! Carp care is the number one issue for me, beyond that, enjoy!

@@pumba5322 technology is fine and I embrace it but doesn’t mean £1000,s on a boat with GPS/sonar etc to fish your average carp lake and I even go has far to say if you can’t cast to your spots then you shouldn’t be fishing them

@@backroomgeeza652 I fish a 100acre lake with limited excess on some banks loads of weed and birds and not many fish approx 30 and never used a boat of any description EFFORT=REWARD and it a good feeling when it comes together
