After being blown away by "Have a Cigar" this performance piles it on. I went back and checked out some of your earlier stuff and realized that you gentlemen are evolving at warp speed. I absolutely love what you are doing. The creative cover is an art form to itself. Jimi Hendrix's "All Along the Watchtower" utterly eclipsd the Dylan original, and it looks to me like you are doing the same thing. Love your energy, love your creativity, love your music! Who knew what this song needed was all its heaviness, a keyboard intro riff, and an extended bridge with a keyboard solo? And that bass! I've tried to emulate this sound. Closest I've come is an SM57 in a trash can lined with an old quilted bedspread with a cheap Ampeg 110 blasting into it. Bass is a Squier VMJ with Rotosound Swings on it. Yeah, a cheap bass with a set of strings that cost almost a tenth the price of the bass. Cheapest bass I've ever bought new is one of the two best basses I've ever owned.
