I would really need to see a stable MIDI plugin added to MainStage and a better implementation of the Playback plugin. For multitrack playback, Logic Pro is still the way to go because in MainStage one has to do loads of workarounds…

Thanks for the introduction...however there is a problem with the external sound card setting... it always reverts to the internal Mac speakers... ...why?

I moved away from Mainstage. Constant crushes and simple things ,like mapping preset changes are not there,and it's heavy on CPU. Also,no osc support. Shame ,as I like the workflow.
