Maintaining your spine tilt - also known as maintaining posture - through the swing is a key part of consistent ball striking. In this video we show you how the rotation motion of the lead leg in the backswing can really help you maintain that tilt. When you use a groin muscle called the gracilis you pull the lead knee under the body in the backswing and that keeps your spine tilt from changing. And when you maintain your spine angle your posture is maintained and everything else in the golf swing becomes simpler.
