Using a fire bag for EUCs has been proven useless since the posting of this thorough and very informative video. Otherwise, this is great. Thanks so much!

This has got to be the coolest doc I've ever seen! I didn't learn much, other than not charging when not around and letting the charger go green before use but thanks allot for all the info. Also thanks for showing all those battery fires, really made an impression to take this stuff very seriously!

Thanks! Glad you liked my video. I have actually gotten 3 more surgeons to join in the EUC addiction. We just have problems synchronizing our schedule so all 4 of us can never ride together. EUC is the life!

I love that you're an anesthesiologist but still ride euc's! You're videos are excellent and informative, keep 'em coming sir! Cheers!

Yeah riding the wheel keeps the stress level down. Much better than a mistress. Lol. My EUC has taken me through the most stressful moments of my life. It really is much better than any drug out there. Have a safe ride!

@@AdamU1016 totally agree!! These machines do more than people realize for one's mental health!! I love going on quiet morning rides along the Erie Canal trail- great scenery and wildlife!

The 20% degradation lithium battery capacity after 500 charges is known throughout Tesla community data. You can buy the fast charge and not really care about losing 20% going through the cycles, if you buy the 3600 Wh wheels! Battery sag is one of the reasons for cutout or tiltback. This could be delayed/limited by buying Molicel pack with the highest energy flow more than any lithium battery! Once we solved most of the quality control that plague EUC, the next step in safety is going full Molicel to get the full benefit. Everyone should watch this vid!

Thanks Dr. Adam. What do you think of the Samsung 40T? Ewheels says the range difference is less than 5% but I haven't heard what users have said yet.
@AdamU10162 жыл бұрын
I haven’t had experience with the 40T. I do have the Samsung 50E. I recently went on a group ride in NYC and rode a total of about 13 miles that day. I was pretty aggressive too at some points in the ride. My battery level went down from 100 to 91%. I think most riders will do just fine with the 50E. Unless you really will be doing aggressive hill climbing, sudden accelerations and decelerations, rough terrain riding with all the surges of power needed to maneuver, then I would recommend the 40T. Wrong Way actually did a video review and found a range difference of 10%. I will include the discussion on this topic from my favorite site for EUC tech. Hope all is well with you. forum.electricunicycle.org/topic/29752-40t-vs-50e-batteries/

This is great service from Ewheels! Did you have a choice to choose the battery packs...... between the Samsung 50E or the Molicel P42s?
@AdamU10162 жыл бұрын
Jason is the best. He offered me the Samsung 50E which I was quite happy with. I did hear from others later on that for an extra $250 the Molicel would be sent. I am not an aggressive rider so having an extra 33% continuous discharge rate at 10 A vs. 7.5 A with the stock LG M50LT was more than reassuring enough for me.

Thinking about getting a Mten3 as my first EUC, but worried about Begode QC and track record regarding fires. Any concerns with yours?
@AdamU10162 жыл бұрын
The MTen3 is a great wheel. I love the portability. Just like any lithium ion battery there is always that fire risk. As long as you take good care of your wheel and know its limitations then the MTen3 will provide you with lots of enjoyment with less worry.

Another good video Adam i also have Jason talk to me about replacing the lg for samsung on the msp wonder when will this happen!
@AdamU10162 жыл бұрын
Jason is awesome! I emailed him last week. You just need to show proof that you found a place near you that can safely dispose of your batteries. I found an Advance Auto Parts that will dispose of the batteries. I had to talk to the manager to explain that these are lithium ion batteries and I needed to show proof that I am disposing them properly. I even had the manager write a note that she received them. You won’t need to do that. Just take a pic of your batteries right in the place you will be disposing the batteries. That’s all you need to email to Jason. This was last week. I will be getting the batteries this week. The story will be in the next video.

Glad to hear that. I received my LiTech Samsung 50Es 2 days ago. I installed them that day. The hardest part was snaking the 2 wires to connect to the other side of the shell. Easy peasy. I know it will be much easier for you though. I rode it around and everything was working well but it was already dark by the time I finished the installation. I hope to put it through a decent test ride tomorrow. Hope you get your batteries soon.

I think the molice P42A is a good choice for my next EUC
@AdamU10162 жыл бұрын
The Molicel P42A is the best of the best for the performance rider. The average Joe rider who does fast riding but doesn’t really abuse to the extreme will get more than enough use out of the SamsungE2s. Have a safe ride!
@wutruriding13552 жыл бұрын
If you can get p42a packs, get them. They are safer in every way. I have them in my RST and the power is insane, hard to get even close to max power. High speed cutouts are still possible, they don’t help in that regard.
@AdamU10162 жыл бұрын
@@wutruriding1355 - I was thinking about paying the extra money for it but I am a conservative rider. My cruising speed is 25-30 mph. Max I have ever gone is 35 mph on my Nikola 100V. That is more than enough for me. I am saving that extra money I would have spent for the Molicel for my next wheel next year after the new wheels at this time iron out all their kinks.
@theanimalplanet70312 жыл бұрын
@@AdamU1016 All wheels experiencing battery sag when reaching 60% or lower, sometime even earlier than that depends on how hard you ride. Regular Joe would benefit greatly from a Molicel packs. It has the highest energy flow, more than any lithium battery, it would delayed/prevent battery sag and going into early tiltback/dip. Ofcourse this would still occurred if you have a small pack..that's why it always good to get the biggest battery pack wheels! In the Master, they offered a smaller Molicel pack, which is worst than the regular pack because of all the negative effects mention above.
