Maintaining Hope: Tim Stanley on Christianity as the Answer to Cultural Malaise

Tim Stanley is a historian and journalist. He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge with a PhD in 2007, is the author of three books on American history and has taught at the University of Sussex and Royal Holloway, University of London. He started writing for the Daily Telegraph in 2011 and is now a parliamentary sketch writer, leader writer and columnist. He often appears as a commentator on TV and radio, including on The Moral Maze.

He makes a great point, In Christianity. There is a lot of Illiteracy and many people are functioning on various levels. We have to move past this whole judgment trap and make decisions based in truth, not in the weak understanding of others.

Good interview. The madness going on in the secular world, has brought me back to faith in recent years. Atheism is destroying families/relationships and common sense in our culture.

Nothing he said about religion in Parliament was in any way reassuring. Liberal Anglicanism is woke led by WEF Welby and topped by WEF Charles iii. The Scottish First Minister, the muslim Yousaf has brought in in effect a blasphemy law. Not good.
