Thank for the video, I was gripping the bow tight in practice draws causing twist. Easy fix and much relief!

This help me out very much. Thank you and may your arrows fly straight

When I shoot my bow my string always returns to to string groove. If I draw it slowly and let it down no matter how open of a grip I keep it goes left of the groove. It looks straight as an arrow other than that.

I am new to recurve bows. I have a Fred Bear Kodiak Special. It has a twist in a limb. Will is method work for that bow?
@sturmslingshotsandshenanigans9 жыл бұрын
Matt Tucker yes sir. I have done this on a couple old Bear bows from the 60's and 70's. Go very slow on an old bow. doing it many times in small increments is far better than breaking a classic piece of American hunting history. Enjoy!

@@sturmslingshotsandshenanigans I know this is a 5-year-old comment, but thanks for your input! I have a 1963 Kodiak Special that I found in an abandoned shed, and it's in amazingly great shape other than the limb twist, so I'm very excited to know this model - specifically - can be fixed this way! Thank you!
