One more thing important to clean are the drain holes of the sub roof. Clogged drains can cause big problems. You can use air gun or compressed air.

That's a good comment to clean the drain holes. I did not do that just base on the WIS of MS, there is no required step with the drain hole, I think that because the drain hole is clogged rarely. I'll attach it on the leighsr.com. And I live in southern California, the rain is rare also. 😄

That was my thought as well (saw it on Car Wizard), the glass does not make a a water tight seal at all. If you don't have access to an air compressor you can use a can of computer dust cleaner. It's good enough to check for blockages.

Thank you and I consider that the silicon lube is the best protection with rubber material. I also bought a Petroleum-based lube branded by BMW, but I discard it. The synthetic lube is another good choice for track as you mentioned the super lube.

Thanks for the excellent video. Were you getting any popping and cracking noises from the pano roof? My W212 E350 is making a lot popping and cracking when going up and down on steep driveways.

Thanks and my two cars never had that issue. Maybe that’s not came from the sunroof, check the inside of the liners.

謝謝提示，我的車庫開關機已經更換成靜音的，是免保養的，可能唯一能拍的內容就是軌道和滾輪的保養。如果還是以前的鏈條傳動的話，可拍的內容還會多一些。

不用通，w212车型轮拱里的排水管出口剪掉就是了，灰尘大的地区迟早都要堵的，我上次堵了漏了，地毯下都是水

I own 2010 and 2012 C350 4matic one is 4 door and one is a coupe. Don't I need OEM for seal and gear ? Some say if I don't use the OEM I might run into an issue at later date. I see some video they drop 3 drop with the Sunrood tint up on both side and clean the rest and apply the paste. Your video is not a C350 and I was wonder will that be a big different. Well we hardly use the Sunroof maybe not even 5 times since day 1. Please advice.

I watch this video a few times and I am pretty dump and can't really can follow the step. I assume this half is for the Panoramic roof and I see you apply the o-ring lub on it and then the paste on the rail. On the rail are you only to put the paste inside not on the flat surface ? and do you have to put the paste on the other rail for the shade too. And I am lost to see you apply apply the o-ring lub in the rail after. On the Orginary Sunroof I did not see you putting o-ring lub on and is that not necessary. I see some other video they don't just clean and put the paste on both inside rail and call it good. And one show he apply 3 drop mercedes special lub with the sunroof tilt and put 3 drops into the metal rail and apply paste to the roof and shade rail and call is good. I was wonder do I put some paste on the rubber and wrap it clean around the sun roof too. My lord we have snow here this week even is April. I have to talk a closer look my 2 mercedes what it look like inside. I thank you Sir to reply to me so quickly

Just don't use useless sunroof. In the last 20 years never used a sunroof, never had a problem.
