I love dossier ambery saffron I spray my self about 12 to 15 times 😅 i don’t know if that’s the reason but my nose after 20 minutes doesn’t recognize the smell is a little weird because the smell during the day comes back out of nowhere

Yes I’ve noticed when I use Ambery Saffron regularly, the smell begins to smell more like alcohol. My wife bought it for herself, but since I found out it is for men and women, I use it occasionally lol

Surprisingly, Ambery saffron is what introduced me to the BR540 scent profile. I do agree that Ambery saffron smells “good” I guess, but something about it was heachache inducing. Something in the composition of the ingredients is just off. Even my coworker got a heachache when I wore it. Which was so weird cause simultaneously it does smell pretty good. I held off and was able to get a real bottle of 540 and don’t think I’d return to Ambery saffron, however I am thankful for the role it played in connecting me with BR540

Hi Kelly, the very best dupe for Baccarat Rouge 40 extrait(red bottle) in my opinion is"HEAVEN'S DOOR"by Be Layered! I have both and I layer them and absolutely cannot tell the difference! It helps me save the expensive one lol, but the dupe is just incredible, hope you get a chance to try it!❤

Just got this dupe, and it smells damn near the same as the Baccarat Rouge 40. It actually lasts a lot longer imo.

I can't smell BR540 on me after 5 min! Even the Extrait. I got samples of both. It's hard to compare a dupe with it.....when you can't smell it!😂

I just got my 540 from dossier and honestly I can’t even smell it , it’s very faint , smells like a whole lot of nothing , I’m so disappointed, maybe I got a bad batch ,I ordered 5 fragrances from them and omg I love them all except the 540 only because I can’t really smell it on it 😢

I love the Julianna’s Perfumes dupe, Aurora. I absolutely adore it. I will be purchasing the Dossier version as well though. There are only a few scents that I go crazy for - BR540 and Lost Cherry.

I couldn’t smell the jasmine in either the dupe or the real deal. I mainly smelled the saffron, amber, and cedarwood which are all lovely smells. But I feel like it needs to be paired with something sweet to balance it out. Like black opium perhaps.

If BKR 540 smells anything like Ambery Saffron, I’m glad I can’t afford the original. Headache in a bottle.
