"Maithreem Bhajatha" urges each of us to nurture this amity and friendship, reminding us that genuine progress can flourish only in an atmosphere of prema (love) and seva (service).
Composed by the revered Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Swamigal of Kanchi Mutt and set to music by Sri Vasant Desai, this melodious song was performed by Bharat Ratna Smt. MS Subbulakshmi Amma at the United Nations in 1966. Her rendition earned a standing ovation, applauding her scintillating offering as a heartfelt plea for world peace.
