Today I am giving you a minivan tour of my ultimate mom car. A month ago I did an extreme cleaning of my van and that same day I ordered a whole bunch of stuff to organize my car so I can get maximum use and efficiency out of it. You need to put mounting tape onto your emergency tool to secure it into that little cubby area b/c if you think it's going to just sit in that tiny spot without moving during or after an accident and if you've rolled over or turned over, you're mistaken. I keep mine secured so that it doesn't move. You wanna do this b/c once you're locked into a seatbelt after a wreck, you're not gonna get out to chase it around the car when it gets thrown places where you can't find it or get to it.

Seriously it is!!!! I wouldn’t have had any use for it normally. But since parents aren’t allowed to wait in most buildings for their kids activities due to all the stuff going on in the world I’m sitting alone in my car all the time!

For the seat gap filler hole punch a hole in it and wrap a hair tie through it loop it once around the seat belt clip and it will slide back and forth with the seat ;) love it

Center console- I use solo cups! Different sizes for different things. One for hair items, one for first said things, one for misc. (pens, tissue, mask, headphones) it works great and stays put

Just letting you know, I like the set up. But 1 thing, get the wipe case for the wipes over time they will dry up open or not because of heat. I learned my lesson. Also the cover the water somehow so the sun doesn't go on it.so water doesn't taste like plastic

You are the first person I've seen to keep a potty in the car. So much easier. I used to put a short pop up small tent to set it up if we were in a very public place. If folded flat and was easy to keep in the back These are lots of good tips. Heading to Amazon right now!

Ok I keep my food stashes in the side pocket too. Pistachios. Tuna salad and crackers. I love the crack filler I got. Cleaning tool, yes! The tray is genius with everyone eating in their cars.

Lusso gear is amazing! I have their trashcan and middle seat organizer for my smaller crossover. Now that we uped our number of kids-I need a minivan. We keep a minicooler by the door to take in the car whereever we go out. Its too hot during summer/too cold in winter to leave drinks and snacks in the car. I need to add towels back in as my youngest spilled and I had nothing to clean it up with. Great reminder/organization!

Went surfing on KZbin to find some videos on accessories to add on our new Honda Odyssey we just picked up on Monday and ended up finding my Doppelgänger too!! Lol no seriously we look alike. I have a Kia minivan and LOVE it as well. If you are on a budget look for a rental fleet car lot, like Enterprise or Hertz. The vehicles are only a year or two old and way less than right off the show room floor.

I have the same van, and I believe there's a setting so that your car doesn't move when you turn the ignition; it just stays in your setting!

Okay so I just found this awesome stroller called the wonderfold w4 wagon! It is a fold up wagon that seats 4 and fits super easy through door ways!! I used to have a city select but with three under 2 years old, it wasn’t enough. I was STRUGGLING to go anywhere even with help. Then I Found this gem on a moms of multiples Facebook page and immediately showed my husband... we ordered it that week 😂 I have been using it now for the last few weeks and it’s AMAZING!! You gotta check them out! I think a lot of moms who have more one kids would love it!! I know I do! Wonderfold W4 wagon ❤️

Honda actually makes a “storage” bin for that empty space in the front and I line it and use it as a trash bin. It’s perfect.

seat protectors are not recommended, they make your car seat installation less secure. it hides the fact that the car seats aren't in tight enough. the dents in the seats go away after a bit once the seats are removed, trust me! better to be safe.

Graco only approves using their specific seat protectors underneath their car seats for safety and I believe that’s the only way they would cover the replacement of car seats in the event of an accident.

I have a 2016 base model odyssey. Love it but sometimes I do wish it had automatic doors sometimes (and a full second row vs two captain chairs but we have a system now). I also wish I had magic fairies to buckle my kids in their seats. No one else but dad and I can get our son into his seat. Those crotch buckles are ass pains. You have to have a minivan once you exceed two kids. need to get my car vacuumed at the very least. Life with 3 under 5 is just ridiculous especially now with two school runs. I have a mag light but we're all screwed if we're in a true crisis. I try to keep a full size wipes, pull-ups and diapers for everyone, snacks if we're lucky. I use that bag hook for trash bags (target drive up bags are the best, more structured). But in general my car is a hot mess. It really needs vacuuming. Gosh I don't even think I have car insurance paperwork. Anyways love Graco car seats but we also have a cosco one and no complaints really. Love your setup. You're motivating me to clean up and organize my life lol. Even with the motivation it's hard with three kids (including an 8 month old clingy cranky pants).

When we put our stroller in it fits nicely in the area where just one seat is down and stays nicely propped up. If we had everything down it would just be splayed all over haha.

I haven’t found any inexpensive and still cute prescription sunglasses 😒 I spends what feels like a million dollars on Warby Parker sunnies. But they have held up for 2 years and when they were scratched from my kids I got replacement frames cause it was within the year warranty! I have the same seat/console filler, I put the foam pieces going small point down wide spot up. I find it fills the space and stays when my seat moves but I think the space in my van is wider. I was losing all sorts of things without them there lol I think I need the goo cleaner!

Yeah my driver seat moves a ton every time I get in so it just doesn’t work for my Honda on the driver side. But I filmed this a month ago and I still and using it on the passenger side! 😀

This is 3m old so you’re probably set now but we have the Graco MySize 65 and unless you have a large child it should work until age 5-6. My daughter is over the height limit but sat in ours recently for fun and actually still fits in the harness at age 9.5,lol

I have this same van and it has a setting where you can put the three middle seats into wide mode and almost any combination of three carseats will fit.

@@alaina-bug4645 I have the same van and we have two Graco extend to fits and a graco snug ride. They do not fit three across because of the seats touching each other which they cannot do for safety.

@@chelseaarrieta812 Have you put your second row in the wide mode option? I’ve had a Britax Frontier(it’s a beast) a Graco MySize 65 and a Graco booster and in wide mode they all fit fine. Have you verified they’re not allowed to touch at all? Is that what the owners manual says? Most allow light touching as long as their independently tight. Any questions I ask on the Carseat.org FB page. They have CPST’s that can answer any questions.

@@alaina-bug4645 even in wide mode, the seats I have don’t fit three across. You should be able to pass a piece of paper between each seat. I think the cup holders on the extend to fits interfere too much. Now that my four year old is forward facing I think I’m going to try again. We tried in December with two rear facing and the Snugride and they pushed on each other a lot. I’m on the Car Seat for Littles Facebook page that has multiple cpsts. Apparently the Graco, Evenflo and Diono don’t allow overlap or touching. I’ll have to look into the Britannia you mentioned! I feel bad my four year old sits all the way in the back by himself.

@@chelseaarrieta812 Definitely don’t look at the Britax…it’s decently wide. If you’re looking for a new seat I would look at the Chicco MyFit for your forward facer. There’s a new Graco out also that is supposed to be super slim. Car seats for Littles is an awesome resource too. I would look at how wide the E2F is and change out the two of them and get something slimmer. Maybe the Graco for your rearfacer and the MyFit for your forward facer?

Holly i didn't let mine or the grandkid ether. If they get hungry we will pull over at a park or beach and throw out a blanket make snack time a bonding time. I feel eating in the car is also dangerous if they are smaller. Exception is long road trips. Of course they always had there water! You do you!
