Great video dood. Really enjoy your long form video guides. Was a little worried that you would swap to doing 3 short parts because of your sub/viewer goal but you haven’t so far. Probably wouldn’t be too upset even if you did, understand that you have a lifestyle to support. But yeah just really great vid. i remember playing for the 1st time in this region copule years ago in order to do the cebu achievement. I was about 200-300 hours into the game and it was quite a challange, but very rewarding in the end.

If you full annex tidore or ternate, the other nation will start colonizing. Then you release whichever nation you full annex and full annex the one you let live and wait a month, release the other nation then you get 2 colonizing spice island.

Majapahit is in probably the best position of any nation to attempt a "near zero" autonomy run, given that they can grab the Buddha Deity for their leaders, allowing them to use both of the Minimum Autonomy reduction monuments. Then you simply form england, complete their mission tree, and then form the US for the ideas. Can probably do a one tag one faith WC while you're at it given the super strong monuments for both of those in the region.

Ah ffs. I converted to Sunni to do this but forgot all the damn Sunni vassals just take Dhimmy autonomy and now I can't convert. Seems this idea is dead in the water now. Or do you know of any way for vassals to NOT take Dhimmy autonomy? Even if he doesn't convert at least than I can convert for him in his land.

One thing I like to do as Majapahit is try to fight Sambas early, for their gold mine. Reasonably often, Sambas and Sunda will be allied to each other and nobody else. Sunda will nearly always send you an insult early on, giving you a CB. Co-belligerate Sambas in that war. Crossing the water will be a bit tricky, but the burgher privilege Draft Ships for War gives free heavies at double construction speed. I usually fully annex Sunda to consolidate Java island, and Sambas I will take the gold and make them a tributary. A lot of guides say to avoid taking too much land early because you need the admin points to stab up, but you only need to stab up within 10 years, so one big war is fine.

Your subjects pay a vassal fee depending on this modifier, you can check the expenses your subjects pay to see this
