Majestic and Free II-The Wild Horses of the Navajo Nation

A video featuring the wild horse herd of the Valley of the Thundering Waters on the Navajo Nation. These herds are in danger from a horse hunting proposal that the director Gloria Tom of the Navajo Nation Dept. of Fish and Wildlife has sprung on the Navajo People in April 2017. This is my first video, so excuse the amateurishness.

Aaaah the Rez is NDN cowboy, cowgirl and sheep herder country Forever and a day almost everyone works off the Rez especially construction workers and in doing so I’ve known a lot of people that bought horses off the Rez since I was around Sometimes they turn them loose other’s let’em go during the week and sometimes horses run off So there ain’t no true wild horses, yes horses running loose for a while can become wild but as far as blood line goes their all like Rez dogs no true breed with a mix of all kinds of breeds As far as water goes I never seen one horse or cattle especially sheep dying of thirst but they sure as shit over grazed a lot of country for sure

Hi mr Jackson Wow transcendent imagery and music. 12/24/22 from Jen in Canada I’m curious how you approach them although herds must vary in their tolerance. Somehow I envision you captivating them with the music, and I wonder if anyone has made this kind of use of our so-transportable digital libraries? These horses are so deserving of the lands and conditions they need to prosper, it is sickening to see what governments everywhere in the global north rate as a higher priority for available fiscal and natural resources. 😮😢⛳️🏂🧗🏼🚙🚛✈️🏗🏢
